These Eaters had a crazy design. I love the drill sounds in this song such a nice touch. Makes you remember how hard the defenses of these Eaters are to get though.
A decent level stingmon will wreck an eater in the early game with his signature move. Any def piercing attack generally makes any eater fight way easier. Wargreymon is good in the end game
they have nothing in common lol, not even gonna go in to the Tamers lore but the Wild Bunch explained it, D-Reaper deleted everything that it sees as Garbage Data whereas Eaters literally just corrode data for no real reason lol
@@Chair-tf3un If i remember they were beings of a higher dimension, their original purpose was to take data move it and drop it somewhere else, along the way they got corrupted and just kept stockpiling data thus eroding everything even the barrier between the human and digital world. Kinda wierd how they went from being blue lights to Tentacle monsters with zig zag camo.
Here's a tip. Use a Digimon that has a DEF-Penetrating or INT-Penetrating move. I had Crusadermon NX use Fist of Athena and it one-shot every Eater until they started going humanoid
Eaters are that one enemy that honestly, I kind of like them. Cause if you’re not prepared and don’t know what to do, they ARE threatening. So every time I saw them I thought “Wait I’m stronger than everyone else sure but even I’m not down for this.” Up until piercing attacks. Honestly I’ve got all of my mons with Perfect revival, acceleration boost, final aura, and mach rush 3. With all those skills in mind it does make the game pretty chill. Just cause perfect revival is pretty op and acceleration boost is ABSURD. Faster turn than using one of the big moves for more than twice the damage. Absolutely a miracle skill.
I hope you like this song, because until you figure out penetration attacks, you’re gonna be hearing it for a while.
I'll say it once and all your worries will disappear: Penetration attacks
Crusadermon NX all the way! At least in Hacker's Memory. I did that and almost 1-shot it.
For me it was Neptunemon that helped slay the Eaters, even got the last hit on the final boss
B!Gatomon, then eventually Lilith trivialized them lol
Ryudamon evolution line was mine savior, lets gooo
Digimon that deals Fixed damage help too. Devimon dealing exactly 200 damage was pretty nice on these.
The theme of the hungry cuttlefish

Eater: *High Defense*
WarGreymon using Great Tornado: SPIIIIIINNNNNNN!!!!
Grankuwagmon "PARRY THIS!"
*Dimension X Scissor
This is my *jam*
I dig the Command and Conquer vibe of this track
Name of the song is "Something Eroding"
Monochromatic octopus have a lot of fucking DEF.
Every time I see the eater's symbol I said o_0 I'm not ready
you're never truly prepared any of the times they throw these things at you

one of the few times an rpg makes me audibly say "oh fuck me" any time I see a specific enemy.
Ayy, it's da discount D-reapers!

I swear when I saw this things I thought we where about to jump straight into lovecraft eldritch terretory
When is digimon _NOT_ delving into the realms of Lovecraftian horrors? 💀
I'm sorry *_#2?_*
The first version has a different intro than the second version.
Que buen tema 😎
doesn't this variant play against the weakened Yggdrasil? like the first phase?
data is converging...
ATK UP
INT DOWN
I hate the eaters but like there battle theme

@@internalforce or use Gatomon and spam her main move that deals 150 dmg every time.
