@@MrABroad just more confirmation. I heard him say 10,000 too. Maybe it's a good idea to pull out your phone like he did and type in the amount first so that everyone is on the same page with the numbers
for your travel with motto about 5,000 reals to 7000 reals that it's a normal price, it's go to 10,000 reals that so expensive My suggestion is you can get some people to translate from English to Cambodian language that is a good idea.

I only asked because I'm hoping to transition to Thailand, but there are so many different visa options and it gets rather confusing. That being said, If answering questions are not something you like to do and when you do you are nasty and rude about it, I won't trouble you again. So many other vloggers that are not rude and very kind to people that watch their content. Good luck in your adventures. @@MrABroad
First of all, you could formulate the question a bit better so I can understand better. The way you asked it sounds like I go there to teach or something. Secondly, I always reply in a kind manners. Thirdly, these kind of questions should not be discussed in the comments. And lastly, thank you for being honest. 👍
I might miss understood his question. It sounded like he knows for sure that I travel somewhere and I work. It’s not kind of comment that I usually get. Thank you for your back up 👍😁
I’m khmer and it would make your life so much easier to learn to say “how much” “what is this or that called” “I want this” “I don’t want this” With google translate you can practice to say it or play it with googles vocalizer lol Nonetheless I’m enjoying your videos!
The bike ride is not a scam you have to think …. He has to charge you for him going back to his place …. He didn’t wanna go where you were going in the first place
@@MrABroad have you been to Battambang yet? It’s my homeland, maybe you might like it there. My suggestion when talking to the local people is to use google translation. It must help and useful to you and also when going somewhere, download a offline maps when travelling because some places have no internet.
@J_River Maybe I will visit Battambang next time, I don’t have much time left now. Thank you for recommendations. Google translate and map? I guess I could use it, but I like not to use it, it’s more interesting, and more adventurous 😁

The people have to make a living out there, with the cost of everything going up, a dollar or two will help them out a lot. So with that being said I personally wouldn't try to haggle with the price so much. But that's just me. I don't understand how most tourists who probably come from a first world country where their hourly wage is more than what these locals make on a daily basis always trying to get a bargain for something that is more than likely already is cheap 😅😅😅😂😂😂😂 Moreover, if you can't afford to pay a dollar more for the products and services out there...maybe try going to visit Paris or some other country that is more to your budget as a foreigner and pay $15-$20 for a 5 minute taxi ride.😅😅😅
Thank you for your brief feedback. I lived in London for quite long time, I know the prices are very high there. However, I stay in Asia now for some time, and my income is nothing to compare with what I used to get. Now I live more simple life but feel more happier. When I travel, I do bargain sometimes. In this occasionI wasn’t sure what is the right price, that is why I was a little surprised.
He did tell you up front that it is going to cost you $10000 RIELS ( Khmer money ) which equal to $2.50 . The problem is that you don’t understand Khmer . I suggest you use English- Khmer translation .

Yes, very friendly. I think they did not expect to see foreigner in that market. I am happy that I found it.
I think with the language barrier you agreed to 10,000 riels. No scam ❤

How come you dont use google translate?
I don’t like it. No point. I like without google translate, this way I need to think more what people say.
I'm curious. Do you get work visas or teaching visas to travel from country to country?
Why do you need work visa to travel? If you travel it’s travel visa, if you go to work you get work visa.
