That scripture you gave was found in Jeremiah, instead of John. But wow...for so many years I wondered what Jesus was writing down there in the dirt & I agree, it was either their names, sins or that scripture & that's why Jesus said what he said & that scripture instantly came to their minds & convicted them, then they all had to leave one by one. I have often thought it also a perfect example of Jesus choosing to step back and 'respond' to what was going on around him rather than 'react' like alot of us do especially when the spirit of offence and of condemnation comes at us!

Ben you said in this video that the scripture regarding Jesus writing in the sand is in John chapter 17 verse 13. But it is in Jeremiah chapter 17 verse 13.
We just talked about this at the ministry school I attend 3 days ago. Except the teacher mentioned something you didn’t. He said the Pharisees brought only the woman caught in adultery not the man. Pretty sure it says in the law in Deuteronomy they are supposed to bring them both. There is always supposed to be 2 witnesses. So by the Pharisees bringing only the woman it was considered a false testimony. They broke the law to trap Jesus. That’s also why they could not stone her.
Great message, but Ben misquoted the important part of this message. John 17:13 doesn't say at all what he was claiming it did. In John 17:13 Jesus is praying for his disciples, he's not talking about living water. John 17:13 NKJV "I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them."
My wife is incredibly prophetic and the Lord showed what He was writing in the sand. HE was writing in the Hebrew of the Law to the effect that He was looking forward to the day fastly approaching where he would end the Law by his death on the cross (Romans 10:4, Ephesians 2:15) and forgiveness of sins by His blood would Trump the Law. The people were using the Law to justify murder.

Jesus is not the source of living water. It's torah, the teaching of the G'd of Israel. He is the Only King of kings and only He is worthy to be praised. I’m sorry I do not agree with your interpretation about what Jesus wrote in the sand. The men were standing right in front of Jesus and accusing her of adultery. Jesus bent down and wrote in the sand. What did He write? He wrote the SINS of each man that stood in front of Him accusing the women of adultery. And when they saw what he wrote, Jesus said let he that is without sin cast the first stone. And the Bible says; “And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one” That’s what I believe Jesus wrote in the sand, THE ACCUSERS SINS.
He is full of much Grace . He truly came to rescue the sinner. Amazing is His Love 🙏♥️🌹

We know exactly what our Lord wrote, but to understand what he wrote, we need to understand who we are and what God's Law is.
Maybe He wrote a message to her. Maybe it said “ he didn’t love you “. It must have been on her mind : “ where is he?”.
