    Thanks for this info.
Prior to my sleep study, and starting CPAP, I picked up weight big time from waking up at night multiple times, the worse it got, I would wake up, and eat.
After CPAP, I started a downward trend in losing weight.
I’m convinced CPAP not only saved my life, but also helped lose weight cause of not waking up at night.
I’m only one story but 100% losing from this. Thank you again for sharing this video and all you do.

Thanks for talking about this. I’ve gained weight using Cpap/Apap therapy. I don’t know what is more harmful; weight gains, or apneas causing interrupted sleep. I haven’t seen increases in energy so maybe my therapy isn’t working properly for me. Also, can you address the myth that snoring stops in cpap therapy?

Thank you for watching! It can take a few weeks before people start to feel more energized but then it also depends on how symptomatic you are. If you didn't really suffer from daytime fatigue, morning headaches and the like, you won't feel as "refreshed" compared to someone who was really struggling with all the OSA symptoms. As for snoring - it should stop when your pressures are properly set. Snoring happens when air moves through an obstructed airway so there should be no snoring (or minimal snoring) on CPAP.

It sounds like a setting or fitting was off.. are you still having those issues?
