If it’s just your leg then no issues normally, for those that need a upper chest or head scan it’s an awful experience for most, some countries have a mirror with reflection of flat screen tv and headphones, I had that, it helped watching National Geographic 👍

I have had 2 MRIs.... one for TMJ (my jaws locked and I had surgery in 1992. I had a knee MRI last Monday the 13th. Easy as could be! Not one bit scary for me.
l also underwent a brain MRI last week. Although, I am afraid of loud noises, I didnt feel any difficulties during the test. The hospital Staff was very supportive and encouraging. They played music though it is hard to hea clearly over th loud noises of th MachineM fear left me and l became relaxed.
Just had one a couple days ago. Im a big guy. I'm not very claustrophobic but my nose was maybe 3 inches from the top of the machine, my shoulders a tight fit. I opened my eyes inside the tube, decided to keep them shut the rest of the half hour. It's actually not my most favourite things to do.

I’m severely claustrophobic, and I don’t like certain pitches it triggers my ptsd. Sooo that being said. My whole body was in that dang thing and I was crying and saying don’t touch me and shaking but I got it done as I’m in lots of left leg pain.

Your whole body doesn't go in mine only took 20 minutes but it felt like 10 but the loud noise is really loud and that's what scared me but other then thag it was OK

Prior to your appointment they usually ask if you get anxiety or are closterphobic. They will give you a valium. Just make sure you get ot in enough time for it to take effect! You'll be fine. Staff is always very nice and you get their special attention, though they probably won't offer you a sucker ( lolipop) after for being good.😊
MRI is a small world and usually very friendly staff. I can tell you now, we are here to help through your anxieties and do our best to accommodate. Nothing will happen to you though. Besides some funny noises and laying around a while, the hardest part is choosing your favorite music 😉 I hope it went well for you

One time I had an mri on my ankle bc I sprained it badly and when I walked in I heard that chirping sound and I said to the tech can you shut this thing up 😂 (it was my first time)
It's not that bad. I had it last year because of my wrist fracture and the only bad thing was that I had to lie on my stomach uncomfortably. The sound is relaxing and sounds like being in a spaceship hahaha
Had one 3 days ago. I have a problem with my eyes so they scanned that area. The hardest part of the test is that they told me to close my eyes during the MRI, because there will be a lot of radiation in that area. The bed was surprisingly comfortable😂
Damn that guy could go in there with his street clothes in my hospital. It had me change into this special gown and I had to get this liquid injected into my blood flow so that the picture is coming more “”this is what the doctor said if we don’t do it it will be like a analog photo and if we do it, it’s gonna be like an HD photo.
I want one for xmas. Like to see Santa get down chimney with that. It used to be remote controlled cars now its MRI scan machine's. Its getting out of hand all this
@@ABIBX sorry for hella late response so i got 2 MRI’s, one was of my knee so they let me keep all my clothes on, just had to take off my shoes (i was wearing jeans) then my second MRI was of my lower back and for that one they made me get in to some hospital trousers but i left my own top on, so yeah i guess depends where they’re doing the scan

Hands shouldnt be kept on the chest like that. It forms a loop making it more prone to have RF burns. It should be kept by the sides.
