Makes sense because fruits and vegetables contain good amounts of fibre. Low fibre diets, like carnivore and keto tend to be, mess up a lot of people's bowel movements.
@@stoempert No they dont. Bowel movements simply become rare when the bioavailabillity of your food exceeds 99.9%. Meaning there simply is no waste to shit out. People get the meat flu by switching to carnivore immediately instead of easing into it and giving your body a chance to unfuck itself. Fibre is per definition non essential. We get 0 nutritional value from it, while it is CLEARLY linked to IBS and several other gut related diseases. All fibre does is suck up bile and fluids to make your stool large, its a filler for us that serves no purpose whatsoever. Thats why vegans have to shit multiple times per day. They only absorb 40-65% of their food. You can check out several RCT trials that show clearly how a complete reduction of fibre intake resulted in complete remission of IBS in ALL patients. In science, these kinds of clear cut finds are rather rare. And if you truly want to read up on how we became carnivorous , you should read the 2021 systemic review published in the american journal for biological anthropology called "The evolution of the human trophic level during the Pleistocene". The evidence is rather overwhelming to say the least.
Dude knows more than most of us will ever, and hes being honest with studies and personal experience(both reasonable factors) science changes all the time.
Cutting out plants for them being plants is ridiculous. Cutting out plants because certain types are sprayed with fungicides, pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers is a different story. I think maybe some of these issues are caused by the amount of chemicals pumped into commercially manufactured vegetables. Not necessarily the plant itself.
All organisms on earth have evolved defense mechanisms to avoid predatora and plants are no different having evolved defense chemicals. Thats a reason to avoid some plants, other then how the plant is produced.
What you are all doing is stating some random micro details. You miss the forest by looking at the tree. If you want to figure out which is healthier you look at randomized controlled studies. Someone could say that animals also eat plants that are full of chemicals. Also for the reply someone could say that animals dont want to be eaten too. So you have to look at the studies and not just correlation studies but controlled ones too. This is the order of studies 1.randomized controlled trials 2. correlation studies 3 animal studies

BUT, then, after long enough, and looking like an inverted U shaped curve those levels start to bottom out.
Carnivore and keto can definitely be beneficial for most people. Whether or noy you should stay on it for long periods of time (or indefinitely) will vary from person to person. In short: You are correct and there's legitimate science to back it up. Not so much about fiber, the ideas around carnivore go a bit deeper than that. The idea is that for some people, foods we consider healthy seem to trigger the immune system. If you are thriving, no need to change anything.
It should be noted that there's tons of pure carnivores who have been eating close to 0 plants or carbs for many years longer than Saladino was doing it. Why did Saladino have these symptoms and not these other people eating no carbs for far longer than he was? One possibiltiy is that he was overdoing organ consumption. That is a major difference between how Paul was eating versus other long term keto people and there's some plausible bio-chemical pathways that could explain his symptoms.
This is an absolute possibility. Too much organ meat could be overwhelming his system. Carbohydrates interfere with / compete with vitamins and minerals. So his carb intake could be blunting his micros I’ve noticed how much more sensitive I am to meds and supplements. I need half (or lower) the dose to achieve results.

I tried pure Carnivore for about four months as an experiment to gain knowledge of my own individual reaction to it, not because my omnivorous low carb high meat diet wasn't working great for me.
The only difference I detected was slight constipation, which was more than enough for me to conclude that pure Carnivore isn't optimum for me as an individual.
I'll add that while my diet that I had developed through trial and error over a decade had me feeling great, I lost more weight than I wanted to and couldn't put on muscle, so adding a bit of whole food starches was just what I needed.
Your mileage not only may vary but almost certainly will.

Saladino is a goofball
This is taking me back to a few years ago when I would watch/listen to delt lord every night.
Why give this guy a platform?
So you have something to talk about.
Primary reason I started carnivore and am willing to stay on it if it keeps working is because of my mental health, I had extremely severe depression and that has lifted since I started this journey and I’m willing to stand the test of time along with listening to my body on what it needs. I’m strict but not opposed to having carbs every once in a while without going hammy
My bowel movements improved by eating more fruits and veggies
Everything in your body improves because of you don’t eat them, you lose billions of necessary micro biomes.
Makes sense because fruits and vegetables contain good amounts of fibre. Low fibre diets, like carnivore and keto tend to be, mess up a lot of people's bowel movements.
@@dronepocket325no you don't
@dronepocket325 gut micro biomes eat fiber. Probiotics eat probiotics, are you stupid or what?

Derek dropping as much as Kendrick. Good days
Thats a reason to avoid some plants, other then how the plant is produced.
what do you think happens if you eat almonds straight off the tree
What you are all doing is stating some random micro details. You miss the forest by looking at the tree. If you want to figure out which is healthier you look at randomized controlled studies. Someone could say that animals also eat plants that are full of chemicals. Also for the reply someone could say that animals dont want to be eaten too. So you have to look at the studies and not just correlation studies but controlled ones too.
This is the order of studies
1.randomized controlled trials
2. correlation studies
3 animal studies

Part of me thinks that initially a carnivore diet doesn’t hinder and probably helps things like free testosterone and electrolyte balance, especially if someone is overweight and or pre diabetic.
While it isn't really a diet, one of the most beneficial changes you can make that literally costs nothing is intermittent fasting. It will provide most of the benefits that most of these diets already claim to do

it's quite simple: the part of the plant that it wants you to eat (fruits) are good for you whereas the parts it doesn't want you to eat (leaves, stems, roots) aren't. Meat, dairy, fruit and honey (all organic) is the the best combination diet.
This is real science, asking why why why until the answers become clear and you understand the situation fully. I still can't/won't give up rice, beans, some greens, but his story is so logical.

he's wrong because his diet is more animal based than before 😂😂😂😂
Milk has carbs, granted not a ton but it's definitely there.
That is a major difference between how Paul was eating versus other long term keto people and there's some plausible bio-chemical pathways that could explain his symptoms.
bro, why can someone eat a pound of peanuts without problems, when other people lick a peanut and you have to call an ambulance?
This is an absolute possibility. Too much organ meat could be overwhelming his system. Carbohydrates interfere with / compete with vitamins and minerals. So his carb intake could be blunting his micros
