G'day i have a very unique start up and am very under educated in how this should all work, i have a unique aircraft design i've been designing/working on in my head for almost 10-15 years, but recently I've employed a qualified engineer, to date my aeronautical engineer and i have been working on this concept for a little over 12 months, question 1: he's asking to be part of the project and not just a contractor anymore as he's extreamly enthusiastic about this design, what kind of offer should i make him to be a partner in the business? Percentage of the business? And question 2: how would you go about funding a project like this? I'd thought potentially crowd funding? Let me know your thoughts Kind regards Josh
@@KjllShot Hi Josh, You need to decide whether you want this person to be part of your company. If you do, then it's all about fairness. What's fair to you and to him. I know nothing about crowdfunding, so I can't comment. Your funding is determined by how much you want to raise and how much you'll need overall. Usually, the first funding comes from your friends, family and yourself. Best of luck.
I was looking for CTO as a cofounder, I was joined by 2 subsequently leaving the startup as their motivation level went down I then did any tech task by hiring freelancers, the idea of complementing team is overstated
I am doing the same! If i keep searching for a co-founder i never move forward. F… that! I hired a developer i knew a little and now i have the product done and can go to marked an earn some money for the future growth and development.

Good question, Leo. As I said in the video, I used LinkedIn as one of my sources for contacts. I've used recruiters throughout my career, but not to build a founding team. I have no experience with founder dating sights.
