I’ve watched Summer House since season 1 and the way Lindsay discarded Danielle so quickly was sad. Danielle was very dramatic but Lindsay was not a good friend to her this season.
Because their fake friendship was weird and forced. Danielle was ready to swoop in on Carl any time him and Lindsay weren't actively banging and Danielle is like a dog with a bone. Enough is enough girl
What was her exact issue? Why does she feel entitled to meddle between the relationship of Lindsay and Carl? Or was there something else she is upset about?
While it’s easy to judge Danielle, a friendship breakup like that can be one of the worst gut punches of life. It’s feels like a death except the person is still there. I’m sure Danielle wishes the camera didn’t capture her worst moments but as someone who’s been through it, I completely get why she lashed out. Lindsey completely gaslit her last summer and now we’re watching her do it to Carl this summer. It’s wild.
Danielle has low self esteem. It’s clear when she comments on the other women not bowing down to their men. It’s clear with her friendship with Lindsay.

So after recently rewatching I firmly believe 1) Lindsey knew 100% and basically planned the engagement 2) Lindsey told Carl explicitly not to include Danielle 3) When shit hit the fan Carl was actually upset with Lindsey that the moment was now ruined because of her pettiness

Agreed!!!! Treated her like she was nothing. Danielle treated her the way she normally would just for this to blow up in Lindsay’s face.
