Had not heard of this tenor before. Very nice vocal performance. Also liked the stately pace of the conductor, allowing the music to breath a little. Find this aria feels rushed in some performances. In any case glad to be introduced to another nice tenor. Can't have too many of them.
I love the way he ignores the usual (written?) portamenti in 'DI-NON amar' 02:14 or in 'DE-LLA mia man' 02:51. Actually I have never heard those phrases sung that way by any other tenor.
