Haven't seen Dom in his black Dodge Charger RT since 2001. Brings back the old memories of Dom and Brian's race to the traincrossing. The nostalgia is so fresh 😌
I really liked Jakob Toretto especially when he just started developing a bond with Little B & his moments with Mia. I believed Jakob would stay til the end of the main saga. I was actually really upset Jakob sacrificed himself. But this is Fast & Furious so they can show how one actually survives. If they do I hope it makes sense how he managed to survive

These movies are the epitome of what Hollywood is all about. Fantasize, an ideal world where the average person can put themselves in… and fantasize. Obviously the producers know the film is bad, but the intention never was to create a “good” film.

It looks like he ducked last minute while it flipped. Will surely be explained. And also not sure why make the cannons point downward to flip the car that will likely cause it to explode. Unless he planned on that happening.

This movie had me on the edge of my seat every second! The action, the suspense, the cliffhanger, and the explosions. Seeing new and old casts like Hobbs return makes me excited for part 2

This franchise has more fakeout sacrifices than Final Fantasy IV. He'll live.
That scene at the end where Jakob sacrificed himself to save his brother and his nephew, it makes me heartbroken and very disappointed. Jakob has become my favorite character since he's Dom's long lost brother and he's John Cena. Really Louis Leterrier? Why would you kill off Jakob early since he made a first appearance just literally in one movie ago? Jakob has been missing for a while before the franchise started in 2001, then he's back in F9, and now he's seemingly dead already in Fast X thanks to Louis, but thankfully, his body is not shown, and that makes me concerned that he might return in Fast 11. Also, John Cena was sent by Paul Walker, claimed by Vin Diesel, and if Paul sees this while he's in heaven, he would not be happy about that, and John Cena himself who played Jakob was upset about his character being dead.
Not to mention the fact that this would be a huge missed opportunity if Dwayne Johnson and John Cena will not get a chance to share a screen together in the same franchise. It would make me so mad if Jakob's death is real only because Dwayne Johnson only agrees to return in this franchise if they kill John Cena's character off, and my opinion on The Rock will be changed since it's an ego reason to do that.
But since Dwayne Johnson posted his video on Twitter/Instagram and explains why he's returning in this franchise, he luckily didn't mention about only agreeing to return when Jakob is dead, so it's easy to assume that he and Cena are already friends. But now that Hobbs and Reyes are probably coming out next year in 2024, I hope John Cena will return in that movie, because I'm predicting that Luke Hobbs might save Jakob, and then he will join forces with Hobbs to stop Dante while he goes hiding with Hobbs and he's aware that Dom thinks he's dead. If that happens when Cena comes back in Hobbs and Reyes, I hope this movie will have a post credits scene where Dom and Little B are back at 1327, A.K.A Dom's House to have a peace while they were still thinking about Jakob being gone and his crew being gone (Roman, Tej, Ramsey and Han for example, while they may still be alive). Then suddenly, Dom and Little B heard a door knock. Dom opens the door, and he was so surprised to see his brother Jakob coming back, even Little B. They all hug together. Then lastly, Dom asks Jakob how he survived, and Jakob explains to both of them how he survived. Then 3 of them make a plan on how to stop Dante and Aimes, and the mid-credits scene ends. (I hope that happens if Cena comes back in Hobbs and Reyes movie.)
Oh, and my character prediction who could save Dom and Little B could be either Brian O'Conner or Luke Hobbs.)
