    I agree that Israelis like to shorten what they say. Use fewer words when possible. I was recently in Israel and found this to be true first hand. Sometimes I did not understand what people said or asked me because of this practice. But learning how people talk daily in normal conversation is essential.

I went through Ulsan Aleph and Bet and no one stressed the word efshar as a way to communicate more easily and construct sentences with less stress and talk more and more efficiently.       There are language tutors and conversation partners in different platforms to practice. My Arabic improved quickly from speaking with native speakers. They also have modern Hebrew native speakers as well.
