    Hello, I've just stared to learn hebrew and I'm going by your guide which I've recieved on my email. I'm from Croatia so I'm not native english language speaker. I just have one question: I've wrote on paper word: כל הכבוד but without english reading or pronunciation in /Kol ha-ka-vod/, which becames KL HKVVD. How can I know how to read this word כל הכבוד, how can I read it without guidance between those slashes? It is very confusing to me, but with that word pronounced in slashes I can easly know how it should be pronounced. I want to be able to know how to read it without using guidance pronounced word. BTW I'm trying to buy all of your 6 workbooks but I don't have amazon account and Amazon is not available in Croatia region, is there any other possible way to buy this workbooks?

      Welcome! It is great to have you on board. Learning the Nikud system I teach in Hebrew 3 will allow you to read every word in Hebrew as you described so well. Hebrew 1 and 2 teach you how to write in Print and Cursive Script. Together all 3 complete all your reading and writing skills in Hebrew.
      I believe that ordering from Amazon.uk is the best way to go about it. Please let me know if that doesn't work,
      And feel free to ask me anything! Your dedication and motivation is inspiring and I would love to support you any way I can

    I just ordered one of your beginner books from Amazon (Hebrew Workbook for Beginners). I then came to RUclips to look up your name. This is the first video I've listened to, but this video is already too complicated and too fast for me. Could you guide me to something easier to start with? I'm almost 70, but I think I need toddler level instructions. I'm also tech challenged. Any help is appreciated.

      Welcome, Patricia! I am so glad to hear that you are completing my books, and will gladly direct you to my Best Videos of Beginners Playlist: ruclips.net/video/ZeBeWvTI1Ew/видео.html
      Also, please remember that if it is the speed of the video, you can always set it to a slower speed, which so many of my students do if they feel it is going too fast.
      You would be surprised at how many students I have that are your age, and older :) but at any age, it is inspiring to me that you are investing time and efforts in learning my beautiful language. Please know that I am always here for anything you need.

    Final versions of letters ם ן ך ף ץ are absent in your system. It’s a bit confusing

    • @HebrewbyInbal
      @HebrewbyInbal  4 месяца назад +1

      This is a phonetic system following the sounds of the letters. There is no change in sound for final letters. I teach it all in my workbooks. My phonetic system is said to be transformational by my students, so... :)

      If I’m a complete novice I can’t read the word שלום with your system because I don’t know what the last symbol means. That was my idea. It’s not obvious for everyone that it’s the same letter m. IMHO
