      it's really good training to get a soft hand, one guy who used to write beautiful letters once said he used to put a lot of pressure on his writing, resulting in uneven letters and etc, so he bought a glass pen and started, bit by bit, writing with it until it was basically naturally written

      In all honesty the glass pens he's using are pieces of shit, very poorly made/shit quality. I have 150 glass pens and I'm drop dead serious when I say that out of those 150, only one is a piece of shit like the pens he used in the video; the other 149 glass pens I have write beautifully/perfectly. The one that's a pirce piece of shit was bought off Amazon for $13, the other 149 were custom made by someone that specializes in making calligraphy pens/glass pens. So if you want a glass pen, go ahead and buy some, don't change your mind because someone made a RUclips video using horribly made pens LOL.

    The letter forms stand out with a glass pen , and some inks work better than others , I love using the sumi ink with it and give it a thorough clean after use, the paper you use depends on the ink you are working with.

    • @CalligraphyMasters
      @CalligraphyMasters  6 лет назад +5

      Well it's not that easy to break it! If press a lot, LIKE A LOT, might break, but it can take some pressure. More likely to break if you drop it or something like that.

    i have a stunning glass pen that I watched being made in Murano. the ink flow is fantastic when used with something like Cross ink, but the best bit is the Song. glass pens sing as they move.... the sound a good pen makes is beautiful, like a glass harmonica or a crystal being pinged. if you want a wonderful experience it is worth spending on these, and try before you buy. find the pen that likes you.
