Upper hand on the clasp maybe....I like the beads of rice look. Both watches are very nice. You just got the Lorier! You couldn't know what you prefer. The Lume has a clear winner though.
I think I do like the Lorier gilt dial vs. the black Baltic one ...I think it's the blue Baltic color-way thec more luxurious looking dial... Dark and changes color so much.... The black is great too though...
As an owner of the Neptune V3 (now sold) and V4 (keeper) I have to say I don't know if I believe the Lorier's claim (I watched their interview video) that using the acrylic crystal actually cost them more than using sapphire because of the extra cost of fitting acrylic to the case as opposed to fitting sapphire to the case. Hate to say they are lying but I don't believe their excuse. Even though they said they were trying to keep it with a vintage feel, switching to a sapphire crystal over acrylic I feel would be understandably excused by most collectors.
Maybe they’re comparing to a flat sapphire without AR…which is still disingenuous. I also call BS. Nothing wrong with acrylic imo but don’t say it’s more expensive than a sapphire equivalent because that’s rubbish
The Lorier Neptune looks like a million dollars. An absolute classic 🔱👌
Thanks for this. I've wondered how these two compare to each other.
The new Neptune v3 I just got fixed the bezel issue, with a way better milling on the edge. Also, after 2 days is giving me 2 seconds per day.
Nice!
It uses miyota movement instead of the nh35 so it has 28k beats and is thinner which made it possible for the case thickness to be reduced by 2mm
The future of watches!
Thanks for the review. The case and bracelet of the Lorier Neptune and the Richard LeGrand Oceanfarer looks quite same.
The new Lorier V3 fixes a bunch of its issues. I prefer it’s design and price over the Baltic. I just wish the Lorier had domed sapphire

Two of the best micro brands you can find. Love them both but Lorier’s Neptune V3 is thinner and I think has a better dial and hands.
i SOLD MY GEN 2 TO MY GOOD BUDDY AMIT
My man great Comparison between 2 great watches !! , Thanks for the video :)
Thanks dude :)

Very nice review! I prefer Lorier more.
Thank you. So do I!
Could you prefer it less?
Do you know wether the bracelet of the Baltic fits the Lorier
No idea sorry
If the Lorier had the blue gilt like the Baltic, I’d be all over it!
Nice review! Is your Neptune black or the blue one?
Thanks, it's the black one
hakonig it’s gorgeous!
@@hardtofindvlad I just got the same one, and it does give off a navy hue in some lights.
I like moore Baltic Aquascaphe.
