Lindaas Barn Dance June 1, 2024

The Lindaas Barn Dance, east of Mayville, ND, launched its season on June 1, 2024 with the help of regional musicians The Norsky Brothers. The two person band consists of Paul Fladland on guitar, banjo and mandolin, and Loy Laron on fiddle, mandolin, and guitar. Dancers from age two to 92 joined in to polka, waltz, and do the Chicken Dance in the historic barn on the Lindaas property. Retired farmer and state legislator, Elroy Lindaas, has been playing at and hosting barn dances since the 1980s.
