- ~JustHandmade~ In today's tutorial I will make wings earrings made with epoxy resin (I use Crystal Resin - Pebeo). Those wings can be fairy wings, dragonfly wings, butterfly wings and you can make a necklace, earrings or just add wings to a polymer clay miniature. Gorgeous! How do you get the resin to not separate from the transparency? Mine never wants to stick to it once cured :/
Thank you! I didn't have that problem, maybe it's the resin you're using. I'm using Crystal resin from Pebeo, and it works great. However you can add more layers to such kind of jewelry to make it more resistant. Hope this was helpful!

My problem is the ones I got is dull on one side. They were printed on acetate. Where did you find yours that are 2-sided?

How long should I wait before doing each side?
You must wait at least 12 hours between layers and 24 hours for a complete dry (or less if you apply thin layers). Hope this was helpful!

Can I use real butterfly wings for this?
Yes, I believe it works with real butterfly / dragonfly wings, but I haven't tried.

What's the block u put them on to stick
It's the back of a silicone mold, that I use for polymer clay, but you can also use a silicone pad or a plastic pad.
Where did you get your plunger to measure the epoxy please
The syringes that I'm using for measuring the epoxy resin are from Panadol baby syrup. Hope this was helpful!
