Tbh, if I ever interview Ted Sarandos, I would have a lot of questions for him. Like: 'Why did you cancel your best Netflix shows?' 'how does it feel that Netflix has lost more subscriptions and money during the past months?' 'How does it feel that Netflix has been getting boycotted and it's all your fault, Mr. Sarandos?' Those are my interview questions lol
Ehhhh- sorry. But Ted Sarandos isn't always a treat to listen to. After canceling so much Netflix shows, he lied about "not" canceling successful shows and even defended the awful movie Cuties and defended transphobia as well and the list goes on..
Enjoyed this interview whole heartedly. Great questions and to the point but clear answers. One can almost sense the wisdom both of you acquired over the years in your respective fields - on top of your game. Loved it 💛
Great interview by Anupama! The sheer preparation and background behind each question from Anupama is laudable. She is a class apart from the other so called film journalists who come with a mundane list of questions without any speck of research. More power to the FC Team!
Rishabh Shetty: "For me being rooted to your culture is being universal." resonates with Ted Sarandos's comment @11:15 of this video..."Be authentic before being global. Reverse engineering doesn't work in this case." Hindi movie industry need to think deep on the above for long term vision because so far it still doesn't seem to get it.
I wish netflix adapts Sobers Rodrigues' sci-fi novel Alien from Earth for a mini-series. It would be nice to watch some original content in this times of remakes.
Well good for her..but this doesn't change the fact that she is a bigot..she is extremely biased..we have seen so many examples in the past...Indian bigots are celebrated in the west..
The biggest question to netflix is why are they cancelling good shows premeturely. And how can we avoid that for the sake of viewers (Screw the algorithm) 🙌
You say squid game did that for Korean, but sorry, was paying you for heavy subscriptions just to watch Kdramas alone long before Squid game came along.
Class shouldn't be produced. They should have focus on something else, maybe something like Riverdale but in India. Not copy-to-copy. Also, people i know had stop watching Elite in season 3 anw.
film companion is at its peak of film journalism....I wake up every day to 1 amazing content on the channel after another.
Thanks
so, other 99 contents are shit ? 🤐
LoL

@@nischesharma what do u want then sidha ceo ka interview liya film journo is tough dude kafi struggle and very low pay me hu is field se

One of the best interviews ever by FC..Sarandos is always a treat to listen to...& the questions by AC were fantastic as well!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Let's take a moment to appreciate all questions are on point. Anupuma you are too damn good!
Good Film Journalism 👍
Why isn’t No one noticing the talent of jenna no one’s giving her any award that’s sad we actors need validation also except love
Enjoyed this interview whole heartedly. Great questions and to the point but clear answers. One can almost sense the wisdom both of you acquired over the years in your respective fields - on top of your game. Loved it 💛
Glad you enjoyed it!
This talk is too good ❤️ please do try and get Jason Blum from Blumhouse productions for an interview. His insights on film production is gold! ❤️
Brilliant interview
Thanks!
This channel has content worth spending your time

How she slid gangubhai while talking abt RRR... like we won't findout!!
Bcoz it's 2nd watched globally after rrrr
She loved RRR more than Gangubai. She put RRR as the best movie of 2022
Rishabh Shetty: "For me being rooted to your culture is being universal."

Ted, why are you not releasing Dibakar's film?
Ted bhai please Netflix mein normal logon ke liye content pe thoda focus karlo.
Wonderful interview
Thank you!
Netflix India really needs to get a new content team for India. Most of the OC that gets approved is of poor quality and doesn’t resonate here.
I wish netflix adapts Sobers Rodrigues' sci-fi novel Alien from Earth for a mini-series. It would be nice to watch some original content in this times of remakes.
How does 2 CEO system work?
They take care of different operations
I am waiting for MT VASUDEVAN NAIR Anthology Series from NETFLIX....
No They Spent more On The Rock, Gal Gadot & Ryan Reynolds For Red Notice...yet they don't have Budget for MindHunter🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Well good for her..but this doesn't change the fact that she is a bigot..she is extremely biased..we have seen so many examples in the past...Indian bigots are celebrated in the west..
Was quite upset that they didn’t have original Telugu RRR on Netflix 🙁
And why he still not producing it what are the reasons
Ask them why they don’t have money for mind hunter S3 😒
Mindhunter has a niche audience, not profitable for netflix. Bad news for us fans. 😭
fincher dont want to make s3
Netflix India is more for the urban consumers taste. The local OTTs are doing a better job !
But, anywayyyy Anupama is one of the best journalists. She always smile and have light voice when she asked those straight jab questions ;)
You must ask him why he produce more content in hindi but not in south
Population
Before that you must also ask why these days more and more Telugu/Tamil/Kannada filmmakers are dubbing in Hindi
The biggest question to netflix is why are they cancelling good shows premeturely. And how can we avoid that for the sake of viewers (Screw the algorithm) 🙌
India needs indian Netflix. Otherwise only the western companies profit from us.
Exactly 💯
We have alt Balaji ullu and kooku 😂😂 Indian netflix
I might disagree with you there. Already there are hotstar, amazon prime, zee etc with indian content. I honestly watch netflix for foreign content 🙌
Waiting for srk interview film companion team plz arrange it

Class did a pretty good job in adapting the series to an Indian context
In the world of streaming I still believe in jugarru free apps ...
never heard of it
7:01 "Been a bit of a hit and miss". Did Anupama ma'm mean "Hit or miss" ?
How irritating the audiance is, jaywalking around 🤦🏿♂️
Regards
Joy
I’m just waiting for Anupama Ma’am to ask why can’t we share passwords. That’s the hot button topic.
And it would also had been the most stupid question ever.
Anupama chopra is so artificial
Netflix India need to provide better content.
The title of their feel very odd and westerners. They should tell local stories.
Shocking how the audience is full of men and more men.
CAN PEOPLE STOP WALKING PLEASE SO ANNOYING!
Why they have been so rigid in not having yearly package for India
Brilliant interview
Glad you liked it!
