Love this entire process. I use avocado oil in my natural hair, and I love the benefits it gives to my hair. This is a long process to get the oil, but the outcome is worth it.

We do that then , when we were composting greens.
      Regarding the pit ,
Not until there's a better way to consume the pit favorably ,
It just goes to the compost .
Please share any good recipe regarding the pit .

OMG! See how Lucy made this process so simole. My forst attempt was awful and the painful part was that i wasted about 15 big Gwen or Reed avocado and my wife was mad bacuse she love eating it raw but i insisted of making oil out of it.
For this brilliant information, i will give it another shot this week. I have gotten enough avocado and i will definitely get it this time with patient.
    Thanks once again Lucy.

I'm doing this right now as we speak and using a dyhydrator. It's only taken me about 5-7hrs, but only at the very lowest tempe that's similar to sun temp. Came here to check if it's ready to take out! Thank you

First of all, I will definitely try an incredibly nice method and thank you very much for this information. But what impressed me the most was your voice. I loved your speech, I felt a great energy and I watched the whole video with a sweet smile on my face :). You, the energy in your voice and this method is simply wonderful :)

Hi Lucy, such good information, thank you. I've just made avocado oil using haas avocado and didn't get as much oil as fuert. I'll try to get fuert next time. Though I've got so much pleasure from making my own oil. I've never had anything so beautiful on my skin, I'm sure my wrinkles are decreasing...lol. Thank you again from New Zealand, Jo

I tried this process and the outcome was great. Also realized if you turn the avocado spread at least 3 times a day, the oil will be ready for harvesting in 3days. The oil has its own unique taste. Thank you for this

I do avocado everything. I eat it for breakfast and sometimes dinner. This process was very enlightening to watch. I use the oil on salad and cooking somethings.

I love how you showed everything step by step I never realized what it took to make avocado oil. It looks like an easy process but it also seems like it’s time consuming. I might have to give this a try one day thanks for sharing.

Thank you Lucy. It's kind of you to offer. Mostly in stores here in the US you see Haas Avacados and they are rather small. I am thinking these might be the larger ones I see on occasion and always buy if I can get them. I looked them up and they are selling 3lbs shipped for $30. I won't be buying those today!!!! @@reallifeinlucyskitchen

I have two huge avocado trees and am attempting to make the oil. Someone asked if it is okay to start with avocados that are brown when opened I think you misunderstood and thought they were asking if yours were brown. All mine were so over ripie that they were mostly brown and I figured it was ok since we are just turning it brown anyway but I do not know. So you just answered my question, mine were close to rotten. They were mostly brown and all soft. I tried some in the oven and that doesn't seem worth the effort and maybe it is the wrong variety. I have a huge batch I am still drying and at first I left it all in the big bucket and this morning it was full of mold and I skimmed off the mold and seem to be good. You have answered many of my questions thank you this is very good.

Would this help my hair sense I’m why. I’ve not seen any white people make this. You did such a great job Ms Lucy!! 💕

Heya - if it’s worth saying I’m white and my hair is awful with “white people products”. Read white people products to mean the cheap crap that people with easy hair can get away with using. It makes for a great profit margin to big companies but also makes for unhappy customers who have no other options.
These recipes are fabulous for anyone especially people with curls in their hair. I guess it was just more obvious to whole families of curly haired people that it was the bad products that were the problem. It wasn’t “just them” or “they just had bad hair” like I got told.
It’s actually surprising to me that people think race matters in this - or more that most hairdressers of every race I’ve met thinks it does. Okay it plays a part genetically but it’s not as important as what hair type you actually have regardless of what is considered typical for your race. I definitely recommend these recipes and ingredients even if you have straight hair. Just figure out the right ratios for you… and look up your hair type. I have 4a hair and am so pale you’d go blind looking at me in the sun. lol 😆 It works on light coloured hair too.
