omg you are super right, i looked at the features online, and if you completely ignore the musical part of producing, and just the tedious mixing part, this ai has insane features for just cleaning up, mixing and mastering.
Same I want AI to help me in the background to understand me, not to be thrown me and interrupt my work with his own out of the world and context ideas, it's like that friend who watched some of those youtube piano chord tutorials and a did a charlie puth online course and he things he's the best, it's almost annoying to deal with 60% of the time
Well, yeah. AI is a great tool to allow artists to remix them and make it their own. But, it's also great for the average person to make something cool without such skills. Obviously the best way to use it is meme songs, though.
A lot of these features exist in other DAW's already. I can do pretty much everything it advertised in that "well known" showcase at the start in FL. Pretty sure Ableton can do pretty much all of that too. Commenting early, maybe I'll change my mind and edit my comment. Edit: Ok, it's kinda cool how it's all just there in the piano roll though, no need to select to pitch correct and pop open Newtone or Melodyne in example.
i think the workflow matters a lot in this case, every tool marries together well! I love FL but I really wish everything gelled together better, especially newtime/tone
Yoo, if you keep using your track "Ableton & Jelqing", you might as well release it on your "Welcome2Bishu" artist page... 🔥 I'd unironically put it in a couple of playlists! 😆👍
@@cburn-YT true. I kind of like the subscription thing because it’s allowed me to get some programs I never thought I’d get to use; but they should definitely add a rent to own or a purchase outright option if they do have a subscription. I totally agree!

Would be cool to see this with a more raw/acoustic song. The massive compressor makes it so the audio isn't easily fixed into separate layers/instruments. The compressor "bleeds over" across all generated tracks and makes changes to the song sound muddy. You can hear this when he pitch-shift a note in one instrument, but you can still hear the ghost of the original.
this is like an evolution to sampling, so cool. i can see people calling this cheating but i remember there used to be this resynthesis plugin that remade a sample in synth and that was similar in my mind, rly cool
I'm gonna have a go, but this seems a lot like Melodyne, which is idek how years old (I remember using it in like 2005) and nobody really used much for some reason. It could do absolutely crazy shit.. idk why it was so underused.
As a group thats been using ai to help smooth over vocals and instrumentals, we are continuously shocked and blown away by how fast this stuff is progressing. Scary stuff, but cool
I been using it for year and I find it's the best stem, splitter available. It's not a good DAW as it feels sluggish to do things in it though. I only use it for stems even though I own about half a dozen stem tools I find it does it best.
I was literally just thinking last night about how much I wanted something like this to exist. Stoked. I'm wondering if buying it let's you access future updates/versions like FL or if you gotta buy each new version like Ableton? AI tech moves so fast that you'd prob go broke if you gotta pay for updates.
I kinda want to see what this DAW can do with some audio from Suno AI because those two together are the future of audio production. If these guys don’t get bought up by a larger company that already makes a popular DAW, then they are all going to be copying these features-which are going to be standard in less than 5 years. I don’t know how good it is and if it could replace any existing DAW, because that ACE studio thing had some neat features someone else is going to do better eventually, but it was just a gimmick/feature being presented as a full DAW, where you might use it to create a sample to import into a real DAW, but these guys seem to have come up with a pretty interesting looking interface. It really kinda blurs the lines between audio and midi tracks with that timeline that looks like a cross between Melodyne and iZotope RX’s spectrogram. I will assume that it’s not ready for prime time if Bishu doesn’t use this to make other videos that aren’t sponsored, because so far it seems like a game changing set of tools that could be extremely useful for remixing or working with generated AI music that needs a bit more human touch to polish up into something useful.
I agree that this was the intended use of AI, and that spamming “AI bad” undermines what it will absolutely bring to the table for artists in all fields. Biggest issue still would be the hidden copying of lyrics without compensation to the original artist’s work, because tbh, it still doesn’t interest me to seriously engage with the writing of the song from the songwriter’s perspective, since multiple people wrote it separately. Revealing of what a good hook is lyrically? Yes. Real for one person? Not yet
That being said, an original ai voicing system based off specific artists and criteria could create its own form of identity, and shared unity between artist and audience, no matter how the art was made
Came here to say you look great. I saw a post about you quitting vaping so if this has to do with a mental and physical change for the better, keep it up!
Idk it seems more like a feature u add to a DAW. Not a daw's central concept. Miss for me . Simple stems, any other program , and even some daws already do this.. #rip off
Honestly this is kind of scary but it does open up potential for people even if I’m not so sure about the prompt thing. I think maybe it would be best if they left out the song prompts and instead had some presets you could randomize (that the AI would make a completely new version of every time) and then the option to give it a prompt for an instrument to use. I feel like if you need song genre/structure/organization you could just ask ChatGPT or smth lmao. Either way it is cool to see new AI tools made for _artists specifically_ to assist their creativity.
It'd be cool if they can make a DAW that automatically mixes all the tracks and masters the master track so we can focus more on creating music rather than making sure all the instruments are heard and sitting in the right frequency spectrum with tamed dynamics. Mixing and mastering are fun but they take too much time which can be dedicated to producing 2 or 3 more songs, even if you use good quality, mix ready vsts and set ups.
Holy shit, okey yeah that's crazy. Now you can create a song with AI and manipulate it to your needs with this. In 1 hour you have a fully mastered and mixed song. That's next level
R.I.P.X Ableton? These are tools perfect for Ableton’s market. If Ableton Live 13 can’t do this and more, who is going to stay? As they say these days: accelerate or die.
So splitting stems and manipulating audio is cool. Great even! __BUT__ prompt driven generative music? AI editing suggestions? Where did they get the massive piles of music to train it? Did those actual artists get paid for their music being sold like this? There's nothing on their website about how they built their model and that almost *always* means they're stealing from artists. Fuck that.
turning an audio file into midi and make it work with a vst instrument, is somehting that fl studio can do since ages.. just click edit sample in the drop down menu of the audiofile in timeline. it opens up edison. there you right click on the audiowaveform and select tools and click on "Convert to score and dump to piano roll"... done.... This convertion isn't flawless depending on the audiofile, but its by far better than any "Online mp3 to midi Converter" etc I've tried so far...
wait, it's generating music from what database.. they selling this? they gonna run into legal issues real fast if it's generating music the way i thnk it is.. thats why udio and suno both are free and in their legal terms say you do not retain ownership of any music created on those sites.. otherwise UMG will sue the pants off of them, which they still might cuz ai bro's going around thinking they can use Udio created music as their own product... smh.. 2024 music production on youtube is pretty toxic with tons of ppl promoting udio and suno for views on their channels.. it really really pisses me off lololol.. you are cool tho.. keep on truckin . you didn't do the generating music thing.. i will have to do some research..

coolest thing about this is the little waveform animation when a note is playing, UI's should do more of that
