If Nintendo decides to bring back other lost mobile games and make them offline like Pocket Camp, I wonder if they still have existing save data from all users. They've been shut down for years now, so they likely haven't. That would be disappointing, but I guess it's best to start over. 🤷♂️
I honestly knew things would be mixed with their mobile games, On the bright side I'm really glad Nintendo's giving us an offline mode.
I'd rather play all Nintendo games on their platforms rather than smart devices cuz I knew it would be short-lived for most of them.
Offline mode is just a disguise for them to have plans to kill off the app in the near future once a new game is announced.
@@therealjaystone2344 yeah
I loved Dragalia Lost! In the final hours of its life I downloaded my save data so that if a fanmade version of it came out I could recover my data, so having it re-open by Nintendo officially would be great. Such a shame it got pulled
Maybe you can donate your data of dragalia lost to the people who did a Fanmade revival to miitomo or Dump it to Internet Archive (but I wouldn’t recommend doing it on internet archive right now because companies are targeting it and taking down stuff) so then Hopefully Dragalia lost can get revived.
Judging by they're lack of Tomodachi Life far from it for me.
It's nice a mobile title got attention but you know even MiiTomo also got shafted too.
Bring back the Miis Nintendo!
It's odd they won't bring them back. Nintendo recognizes the popularity of Miis. They even have an online Mii Maker
I hit that thumbs up marker on your video. Excited see more content from you. Stunning creation, Reecee. Always keep the quality work.
Pocket Camp gets a second lease on life as an offline game, but when it comes to an original game Dragalia Lost on Switch, it's too much of an ask? 😒That doesn't sit well with me.
It feels as though Nintendo and Cygames literally set it up to fail, and it was popular before EoS, behind FEH and the rest. An offline version of it without gacha elements would finally let the folks in Europe play it. Common sense!😠
Honestly I miss MiiTomo
Me too
I've been wanting to play Pocket Camp, since it has so much furniture in comparison to ACNH! I'd totally buy it offline. I wish they would put it on the Switch too.
As a Pokémon masters player I’m very happy about this because if it ever ends and they don’t give it pocket camp treatment I will be so upset.
I doubt they’d permanently get rid of it and likely do what they did with Pokémon shuffle and make a 24 week cycle for the online features and events.
We can safely say that Nintendo's mobile days are over
HAH! Fire Emblem Heroes alone can give them a good more years.
Would be kind of nice if they remade all of their Tour tracks in a Mario Kart Ultimate.
I had a dream that Nintendo released a home port of Mario Kart Tour, but it was just a lazy port that not only brought back the missing tracks but also omitted those in the Booster Course Pass, and recycled the Mario Kart 8 UI, gameplay mechanics, and modes, making it more like the missing half of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sold as an entirely new game. It also only contained characters and karts from Tour, but not those who were in 8 Deluxe and not in Tour. The costumes had to be unlocked.
@@X2011racer Well that wasn't what I had in mind, but I can see that dream being the case of: "Be careful what you wish for.".
Maybe a future EU law that all video games must be playable forever and the game companies are responsible for preserving the games to be played forever. And specifically the wording they use really is "forever."
Nintendo is known to have a poor record for preserving games. So, I highly doubt they learned their lesson.
I realllllyyyy wish theyd put it on the switch since its offline anyways.
acnh wasn't 'supported', they were gradually unlocking the game that was already paid for. they essentially locked half the finished game behind a faux dlc wall. all the info that was 'dlc' was shown in datamines to exist in 2020 when the game first released. and finished 'offline' games shouldn't need support (apart from bug fixes but to release half a game and fix it/finish it after is gross) bc they should be completed games, period. im honestly tired of games trying to cling to life for years via live service bs. its making games worse and cheaper as far as experience goes bc devs just make half assed unenjoyable content bc they have to continuously keep making it and it gets harder to make things interesting not to mention it takes away resources from making new, interesting things.
This happens when stop killing games thing is going on? It's because of that or already was planned before it? Either way it wouldn't help the stop killing games?
I hope theydo that to Dr mario world, I remember enjoying thins game a lot as a kid.
of course the mobile game was "supported" longer than the cartridge game. it's a published game that they released, and then added an ENTIRE YEAR of free dlc to this complete game
they might keep shutting things down eventually dont get your hopes up, dragaila lost is prob co owned by cygames and Nintendo wont be easy to bring back
It got hit by the persona 5 curse like with so many mobile games promoted persona 5 content
I want Dr Mario world back >:/
I Hope not, people need to stop make a big dela about preservation
