Somehow stumbled over you channel today and was like binge watching you roasting "curated" ski reviews with the occasional "ski essentials" review to bring back the energy a bit... ^^
So now I thought I need to see how you ski...
What I personally ski is a second hand Line Sir Francis Bacon from 2015 in 186 or 188cm, not sure every time because they switched lengths in the mean time.
I actually use it, as a primarily directional skier, as a one ski quiver, including ski touring with 1400 m hikes, here in the alps. I've switched bindings from a Atomic Tracker frame binding to a Salomon Shift, paired with a K2 Mindbender 130 boot. Works pretty good for the pow days, the often variable touring conditions and to carve some nice turns on the slopes with some friends. Only downside is, that in comparison you often end up going quite a bit slower than the friends with the all mountain or race carvers...
Edit: probably an important information to not think what a weird setup that is: I used to snowboard before (~12/13 - 24yrs old) and switched back to skis properly in 2017. Also i am a tall and heavy guy (2m = 6'7" and 115 kg = 253 lbs - thx google) and feel like in a wide jogging show in softer skiing boots - no stability.
    Cheers from Switzerland

The Reckoner is a good example that all wood skis are very fun.

You should lower the music when you speak, hard to hear what you are saying :(

Oh man, I'm really sorry, There was really strong wind so I lowered the audio to avoid the wind blowing out speakers, but I think you're right, I think I messed up the dynamic range. I will see if I can fix it in the RUclips Editor, and definitely future videos will be better. Thanks for watching and thanks for the feedback!
