Google made some good changes when the first came in, I guess, but they've been going downhill a lot after their first few months of their ownership.
Yeah it was awesome cause we didn't need to have a Google plus account and we were able to customize our channels with whatever we wanted. In fact it was so great that i used it to chat with friends before i had facebook.

I made my first RUclips account in February of 2008. I was only nine. I heard this song in a vine a few minutes ago and I was like "holy shit, I remember this song!" and that's how I found my way back here. I'm sixteen now. It's crazy how time flies.

I was a sorta a RUclips Veteran before I made this account in 2012. My first RUclips channel was Sonic772577 made back in 2008. I was a squeaker back then, but it was hacked. I looked at the favorites I had back then, then almost cried. My dad joined RUclips back in 2006, then I went to RUclips after he uploaded 10 videos... YT Veterans will understand what it's like back then.

1. This song was overused in mid-2000's and up to late 2009.
2. Everyone started to hate it because it WAS overused.
3. Now that noone hears it anymore, people feel nostalgic about how RUclips was simple back then.
4. Because Google+ was introduced in 2011, everyone now remembers this song as a symbol of simplicity of RUclips in the 2000's.
5. 2010 and 2011 was a period of time in which eveyone was like "Whew! Noone is spamming this song anymore, and at that point RUclips's configuration was fine as well. All was good with the world...
So this should let all the people born in 2003+ understand wtf is with everyone hatin' but then feeling nostalgic for this song :)
