I was just about to say there's a clip from when Stella admits to abusing Ben and you can see he's wearing hearing aids and I'm not going to lie my first thought was "when has Ben been deaf or hard of hearing?" coz in the years I watched eastenders roughly 2007-2013 I don't remember any mention of it. The clip I mentioned when I saw hearing aids is when he was tiny and I don't ever remember a boat crash so idk if it was before or after I started/stopped watching the show xxx
