I met my husband in a black 50 and over FB group. (neither of us were 50 yet). He did a LIVE in the group. A friend said you see this man , he is interesting.. I watched and listened. This man put it all out there. He was looking for his wife. I was divorced maybe 2yrs and wasn't looking.😂 But I commented on his post.. that It takes a lot of courage to put yourself out there and be vulnerable. You will find her. My comment was one of hundreds. The next day I had a DM. Said he liked my page and what i had to say about GOD.. wanted to get to know me. its been on ever since. We just celebrated our 4yr anniversary. AND the Holy Spirit told me he was my husband. But I did NOT tell him. I said well if he is Lord you have to tell him too 😂😂 He did

Unless you are praying to a marriage ( prayer is worship) there is no way for you to make marriage or any other IDEA an “ idol”! 🙄🤷🏽♀️ You will not go through one instance in your Bible where an idea or concept or thing that God instituted as a natural part of human social norms as an “ idol “. Any and everything referred to as an idol was considered a DEITY, some divine being , but it was something that humans either created as their ideal deity or a thing that the CREATOR created and people were praying to it, offering offerings to it and expecting protection and favor and blessings / returns from. Neither marriage nor motherhood nor friendship can possibly be IDOLS. Marriage can be a great desire ( God built us to partner and reproduce and be paired) a longing . Not an idol. I truly loved her transparency. I totally didn’t know about the sorority portion this opened a lot for me. When I was in college I wanted to pledge and God kept keeping that door closed for me so glad he did.

The number 1 sign something is not of GOD is Confusion. GOD is NOT the author of CONFUSION. When confusion happens, I know there's a battle happening in heaven and I have to "hide" and wait till the battle is over Start with prayer for clarity, fast, be aware of what I do and where I go because during battle all doors are open that didn't get closed before battle. I absolutely agree with your comment. In my walk with Christ.....I have spoken & acted on things "before it's due season". It's not that God wasn't leading me. But, I just put the cart before the horse. (CONFUSION) God does not get the glory when we try to make a word from God come to fruition in our timing. This interview had moments of "Yes. Yes Lord" And moments of "Huh, whaaaaat". As a prior seasoned sinner.....and a seasoned Believer, I know God is not going to have a Believer "prophetically attacking and exposing" anyone while that Believer is in the early stages of being pruned, shaped and conformed to the likeness of Christ. Lala may want to chill on going all in on celebrities if she's not fully equipped with all her own armor. And especially if her Fantasy vs Reality discernment thermostat is off 😮.
Literally! I was distressed bc of the confusion I felt when dating another Christian. I remember in my car crying and being so sad. Immediately I heard in my spirit “God is not the author of confusion.” When I tell you I stopped crying on the spot! I know that was the Holy Spirit bc my entire body responded, like he put me in my place. So ever since. I knew he wasn’t the one. It was hard to let go but I have to 😔
What Laterras says from 58:00 is what leads us woman to over spiritualise things and get trapped into limerence. I am speaking from experience. When I released all the specific desire and stringent list and said I will let God send me the right person but I will be open to who ever God has for me. Then boom God did a thing, so yeah there really should be a bit of a release of the pressure we put on dating and marriage as single Christian ladies.

My sister broke her covenant with Delta as well. I wanted to share Lala’s video with her, and I never did. Then one day we’re on the phone talking and she said she sent a letter breaking her covenant. I was like oh Wow. Just confirmation she was already on it.
You've been "looking" for a job by yourself. Look up as many job support services as you can in your city. Go work for some temporary agencies. I worked a temp job for a national company. It smoothly turned in to a full time job until CV19 came about. I slid right on into retirement. God did it all.
Prior to this podcast, I had never even heard of Lala Jenkins. There are so many things that have to be burned off in order to live a fully submitted life. That's why it can come across to the world (and the church) that some Christians are all over the place with what they say and do. Our experiences and our emotions will oftentimes color our theology - who we think God is, how we think He operates, what we believe He has called us to do, and what we believe He is saying to us... and oftentimes, we will get it wrong. This journey with God requires us to evolve and mature. It took me a couple days to get through this podcast. I can definitely respect someone's perspective, even if I don't agree with some of it. Sis, as you continue to walk in covenant with God and mature in His Word, may His directions continue to lead you in the places that you were uniquely designed to be in.

Guys, there's a reason why the bible says you should study to show yourself approved. If you want more information on covenants, study the books in the bible where God entered into covenant with Abraham and the others. Also, use wisdom, what is in the oaths and pledges that you take? What do the words say? What are some of the rituals you do to get in?

There’s been a lot of prior study on the covenants God forms with His people, the power of agreement (“Can two walk together unless they agree?” Also “What fellowship does light have with darkness?”) Those are just a couple scripture references. If you’re in an organization, take into account the things you said in your oaths. Also to put it plainly, we should be veryyyyyy careful what we bind ourselves to. Because of the power of agreement. I would study spiritual access by agreement from a Christian/Biblical perspective. But you really will have to study and pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you as you do for the wisdom and understanding. It’s a deep and necessary topic and human kind often perishes because of what we don’t understand
Thanks for the transparency on the sorority revelations. I’ve been hearing a lot of people denounce but no one has revealed why at that level of detail.
There are a lot of people that she had interviewed on her channel that have gotten through a lot of detail of what goes on in order for people to join the fraternities and sororities. It's heartbreaking. I cried the first time I heard the testimonies because I know people in sororities and fraternities. My heart is grieving for their souls because one of the things they say when they make their oaths is that the oath will follow them into the day of Judgement. I literally cried for the people I know that are in these covenants.
Oh my goodness! My high school did the same thing with mock weddings and I “married” my then high school boyfriend. This entire interview has been eye opening. Thank you both and thank you Holy Spirit.

This compelling video brings back terrible memories of my recent breakup after four years of dating. My dearest friend made the decision to go, and I was left with an inexhaustible hurt. I can't even begin to imagine my life without him, much as I keep trying to make amends. I'm frustrated. I want to write about how much I miss him here because I can't seem to get him out of my head.

Thanks for sharing your testimony about the voice you heard that someone was your husband. I had a similar experience; the guy told me 10 years later that he regretted not marrying me and blamed himself, so he knew but was not obedient.

I love her. She is so adorable and funny. I am in the same place with my spirituality. I prayed for God to remove the desire for sex back in 2015 when i ended my last relationship. Well, until he placed my next husband in my life. When i was in college i was on line for a week with Delta and it just didnt feel right in my spirit. I didnt know why and i dropped line. This was back in the 90s. Never in my life would i expect ppl to be denouncing greek orgs like they are doing now. When my husband and i involved the Word into our marriage things improved vastly. I fell in love at 18 with my first boyfriend. I was a Christian, but he wasn't. I invited him to church, and he got baptized and gave his life to God. After some time, we broke up. He dated several women while we both attended the same church, which hurt me deeply. Even on his wedding day, I was convinced he was making a mistake and that he was still my husband. Unfortunately, his marriage lasted just three years. Two years after my first boyfriend got married, I met my best friend’s husband’s cousin, who was visiting from another country to celebrate his birthday. This man became my husband. He possessed all the qualities I had prayed for in a partner, but I didn't like him at first. He wasn't my usual type, and I never thought of him as my husband. I believed he was a great guy who would make an excellent husband for someone else. Now, we are about to celebrate our 19th anniversary! 😂 Looking back, I see that God gave me what I needed, not what I wanted, and I am so grateful I took that chance and we both said yes. This man loves me, makes me feel safe, and is a wonderful father, provider, and my best friend. He truly honors God.

This is good Laterras! 👏🏾This is an episode about idolatry. For her it was experienced with the Greek org then with marriage. And it highlights how so many people are deceived and end up in a trap. Or worse destruction, they will rush into marriage or get a shut up ring just to say they’re a wife or husband. And it was never endorsed by God. Which is why submission to God and His will for our lives is vital!

I appreciate this because a lot of Christian women had or have a word from the Lord that they are going to get married. And it's not that God did not speak or they did not hear, but as a godly woman, you can also make an effort to be friendly, to go out on dates and actually make the effort to mingle. We do ourselves a disservice by getting a Word from God and then not doing anything about it. Yes, God may ask you to not date for a season, but we can't expect a man to just walk up to our doors and say I'm your husband. May God give us all wisdom, teach us how to hear God, surround us with godly community who can help us and that He will lead us to our kingdom spouse according to His will and timing.
Yes I have my ordained spouse. God told me over 20 years ago I wouldn’t have to date because my spouse is already chosen by him for me. It was confirmed without reservation from the man along with another witness. We both came in agreement with what God said to us both and got engaged and married as God instructed within 30 days. Our wedding date was 6/12/24z.

Literally! I was distressed bc of the confusion I felt when dating another Christian. I remember in my car crying and being so sad. Immediately I heard in my spirit “God is not the author of confusion.” When I tell you I stopped crying on the spot! I know that was the Holy Spirit bc my entire body responded, like he put me in my place.

What Laterras says from 58:00 is what leads us woman to over spiritualise things and get trapped into limerence. I am speaking from experience. When I released all the specific desire and stringent list and said I will let God send me the right person but I will be open to who ever God has for me. Then boom God did a thing, so yeah there really should be a bit of a release of the pressure we put on dating and marriage as single Christian ladies.

It smoothly turned in to a full time job until CV19 came about. I slid right on into retirement. God did it all.

Prior to this podcast, I had never even heard of Lala Jenkins. There are so many things that have to be burned off in order to live a fully submitted life. That's why it can come across to the world (and the church) that some Christians are all over the place with what they say and do. Our experiences and our emotions will oftentimes color our theology - who we think God is, how we think He operates, what we believe He has called us to do, and what we believe He is saying to us... and oftentimes, we will get it wrong. This journey with God requires us to evolve and mature. It took me a couple days to get through this podcast. I can definitely respect someone's perspective, even if I don't agree with some of it. Sis, as you continue to walk in covenant with God and mature in His Word, may His directions continue to lead you in the places that you were uniquely designed to be in.

If you want more information on covenants, study the books in the bible where God entered into covenant with Abraham and the others. Also, use wisdom, what is in the oaths and pledges that you take? What do the words say? What are some of the rituals you do to get in?

There’s been a lot of prior study on the covenants God forms with His people, the power of agreement (“Can two walk together unless they agree?” Also “What fellowship does light have with darkness?”) Those are just a couple scripture references. If you’re in an organization, take into account the things you said in your oaths. Also to put it plainly, we should be veryyyyyy careful what we bind ourselves to. Because of the power of agreement. I would study spiritual access by agreement from a Christian/Biblical perspective. But you really will have to study and pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you as you do for the wisdom and understanding. It’s a deep and necessary topic and human kind often perishes because of what we don’t understand

There are a lot of people that she had interviewed on her channel that have gotten through a lot of detail of what goes on in order for people to join the fraternities and sororities. It's heartbreaking. I cried the first time I heard the testimonies because I know people in sororities and fraternities. My heart is grieving for their souls because one of the things they say when they make their oaths is that the oath will follow them into the day of Judgement. I literally cried for the people I know that are in these covenants.
Oh my goodness! My high school did the same thing with mock weddings and I “married” my then high school boyfriend. This entire interview has been eye opening. Thank you both and thank you Holy Spirit.

I love her. She is so adorable and funny. I am in the same place with my spirituality. I prayed for God to remove the desire for sex back in 2015 when i ended my last relationship. Well, until he placed my next husband in my life. When i was in college i was on line for a week with Delta and it just didnt feel right in my spirit. I didnt know why and i dropped line. This was back in the 90s. Never in my life would i expect ppl to be denouncing greek orgs like they are doing now. When my husband and i involved the Word into our marriage things improved vastly. I fell in love at 18 with my first boyfriend. I was a Christian, but he wasn't. I invited him to church, and he got baptized and gave his life to God. After some time, we broke up. He dated several women while we both attended the same church, which hurt me deeply. Even on his wedding day, I was convinced he was making a mistake and that he was still my husband. Unfortunately, his marriage lasted just three years.
Two years after my first boyfriend got married, I met my best friend’s husband’s cousin, who was visiting from another country to celebrate his birthday. This man became my husband. He possessed all the qualities I had prayed for in a partner, but I didn't like him at first. He wasn't my usual type, and I never thought of him as my husband. I believed he was a great guy who would make an excellent husband for someone else.
Now, we are about to celebrate our 19th anniversary! 😂 Looking back, I see that God gave me what I needed, not what I wanted, and I am so grateful I took that chance and we both said yes. This man loves me, makes me feel safe, and is a wonderful father, provider, and my best friend. He truly honors God.

This is good Laterras! 👏🏾This is an episode about idolatry. For her it was experienced with the Greek org then with marriage. And it highlights how so many people are deceived and end up in a trap. Or worse destruction, they will rush into marriage or get a shut up ring just to say they’re a wife or husband. And it was never endorsed by God. Which is why submission to God and His will for our lives is vital!

I appreciate this because a lot of Christian women had or have a word from the Lord that they are going to get married. And it's not that God did not speak or they did not hear, but as a godly woman, you can also make an effort to be friendly, to go out on dates and actually make the effort to mingle. We do ourselves a disservice by getting a Word from God and then not doing anything about it. Yes, God may ask you to not date for a season, but we can't expect a man to just walk up to our doors and say I'm your husband. May God give us all wisdom, teach us how to hear God, surround us with godly community who can help us and that He will lead us to our kingdom spouse according to His will and timing.

Yes I have my ordained spouse. God told me over 20 years ago I wouldn’t have to date because my spouse is already chosen by him for me. It was confirmed without reservation from the man along with another witness. We both came in agreement with what God said to us both and got engaged and married as God instructed within 30 days. Our wedding date was 6/12/24z.
