Has anyone noticed that Felix and Augustine are actually portrayed on the front door? Does anyone think that they might now have a gift? Another possibility for Encanto 2 when you think about it.
Ah I think why they don't have images on the doors anymore is that they are not identify by their gifts anymore but instead are on the front door together identified as a whole and as a family while before they were all singled out by what they put out. I really enjoyed this movie, I hope they do another one though sadly the second movies don't always hold the same feel as the first, it would still be cool.
@@GuineaPig361 Ohhh I always thought that because of the statement “the gift is you”, I thought that they have their gifts because well, they’re their own gift and no longer need a specified door, so when someone with a gift opens a room door it shows who’s residing in that room and when they leave the door becomes blank again. TL;DR: No room is specified for anyone until the person goes in the room and becomes unspecified when leaving.
I would love an Encanto’s Disney series like we had with Tangled. The Madrigal’s are full of storytelling potential and considering all the rooms and questions we were left with after the movie ended, I think it’s a real possibility
Same!! Actually what I'd like would be more like a mini series of like 40 minute long episodes that focus on different things each episode. Like one of the direct aftermath of Mirabel not getting a gift as a kid. One of the pressures of all the kids were under in their younger days, one of the triplets when they were younger, one of how the two female triplets met their hubbies and fell in love, and so on.
With the new miracle. I like the idea that Delores can turn off her super hearing, Pepa doesn't have a cloud every time her mood gets a little less positive. And Louisa's gift turns off on its own, as in it's her body/mind that tells her "time for a break" and thus her gift goes along with that (but in a safe way when she's not moving a building or anything lol)
Actually I think Peppa's journey ought to be more about learning to accept her emotions as being okay. Rain storms have their place. The world would thrive better if everyone accepted their emotions and didn't just try to push them away. Embracing her anxiety for instance could help other people feel safe to express their own. And we don't even know what emotions create which weather for her because she's never been allowed to really explore that. If she was allowed to she could possibly be as healing to other people with her weather power as her sister is with arepas. Because they would see "Peppa's feeling anxious today it was so am I, maybe she's a safe person to talk to about it" etc.
@@shalonamaranth That would be a better plot for an Encanto-2 musical; however, serious musicals' sequels ALWAYS ended up bombing (Trenton to Rocky Horror Picture Show, Whatever-its-name for Phantom of the Opera, WiN for Grease,....). It's in the whole name: A Madrigal is a musical composition where different melodies come together and builld a new whole while staying recognisable themselves. A sequel examining their dynamics how they live with their conditions and in the newly reformed family may be interesting, but I'm not sure if it should contain the Columbian Madrigal family and not take the result of "Encanto" as a premise and examine it in another culture with another family.
i thought that the front door shows all of them finally being at peace with themselves and that Mirabel is due to be the next matriarch of the family after Alma passes. I hope Pedro and Alma's spirits will help to officiate this in the sequel.😌.
ok now I can't stop thinking of my OC's gift. (long story short, her gift is to see and interact with the dead. if the gift is strong enough, everyone else can also see and feel them. basically a good way for Pedro and Alma to see each other once again/more)
The new miracle is definitely healthier then the old one since the sacrifice of ones life for ones loved ones is a tragedy no matter the outcome. Mirabel's being centered on her own growth and love for her family is indicative of a much healthier family. It's a reflection of how Mirabel's sacrifice made her stronger as a person in the end and represents cauterizing a wound or cutting out disease which then allows true healing to begin, meanwhile the old miracle was rife with decay and stagnation since the original miracle was from a sacrifice which traumatized, causing the rot to begin with in the form of xenophobia and isolation.
Their powers definitely worked differently after their magic was returned. Peppa was able to create a mini hailstorm while dancing happily. She couldn't have made such a storm while happy under the way her powers used to work. Happiness was sunshine and rainbows.
Another thing to notice, the magic flows out over the entire village. Does this mean that gifts will be available to all children of the village, thus distributing the work over many more hands.
I don't think the magic flowing effects the villagers like that because when the house was first built it did the same thing. so it's keeping the town hidden and thriving but I doubt it would be giving the entire town magic. but who knows 🤷♀️

Fun Fact: The Full Encanto movie lasted 3 days! The first is the Family Madrigal song, Antonio's Ceremony, and Mirabel's Hallucinations. The second is The Breakfast, Surface Pressure cover, We don't talk about Bruno cover, Meeting Bruno, What else can I do Cover, Mirabel & Abuela Alma's fight, the destruction of Casita. The third is where they (Mirabel & Abuela) said sorry to each other, the rebuilding of Casita, and the family picture!
not entirely. the director said the casita took quite a few days to rebuild. your first 2 seems accurate but the last one isnt. (there's no way they could've made Mirabel's personal door knob in 2 hours or so so...)
That house most have taken several weeks to make. It is not a wood house, no matter how many people you have stone walls need to be made in sections and allowed to dry before adding more to them. There is only so much height you can give to a stone wall at a time. Otherwise the stone shifts because of the weight and the cement not been set properly and could even fall. The ceiling also would need to set before you could start adding the tiles and other details.
They literally show the passing of time in the rebuilding of the Casita. Definitely days. But it even appears to have a season change. Idk what you're on. There's even a question about your first two days. That might be three.
Honestly I would hope that the shift in how their gifts work would be helpful to Delores and Pepe since their gifts are more of a hindrance to theirselves than anything else. Like the ability to turn off their gifts so that Pepe can feel her emotions without worrying about killing anyone and so Delores doesn't have to hear everything all the time.
I think rather than an Enchanto 2, a disney+ series "The magical Magrigals" following the madrigal family from various character perspectives as they have little adventures that show off their personalities and relationships in more depth. It could even over the course of a set of episodes hint at more going on, before we have a gripping finale which somehow treats the casita as the episode's lead character.
I don't think Mirabel's miracle is limited to only the family, it just might be strongest with them. That wave of magic went through the whole town. I think Mirabel regarded the townsfolk as an extended family as much as the townsfolk would have regarded her as one. No one but her abuela really treated Mirabel as second class within the family. If the townsfolk looked down on her, the children wouldn't have flocked around her. They'd have been being mean because kids can be little jerks with the wrong examples.
A TV show would be better because they could more easily explore smaller issues through out the family with a slow overarching issue or plot line rather than just focusing on the bigger plot point with one main character. Edit: there are a LOT of comments from people wanting a show not a movie, so apparently that is a very popular idea, and with Disney+ I think it could go really well too. If they really want to do a movie I think they should 1st do a show and then culminate it with the movie. People won't have had to see the TV show to watch the movie, but the growth that happened in the show would be in the movie.
How about a limited series, which tells little vignette stories about "The magical Madrigals" including a full episode where Casita is the lead character?
Not a lot of people noticed that Dolores is the only one NOT happy on the family door, I think that’s a big sign for what’s to come in encanto 2, adding to that fact is now the entire village is open to the outside world due to the opening in the mountain
Myself I would defer to the culture the movie is based on. The fact that it's no longer isolated and it have to interact and adapt while still preserving its core and protecting its people offers many possibilities. The closest image in the real world that comes to mind is the village of Gaviotas
Uh yeah I noticed all that as well however I have a different theory that maybe the Director was only promoting his theory to pursue the Disney agenda that magic is easily granted as is powerful in and of itself my theory is that the reasons all the doors were blank at the end of the movie was because even though they all got their powers back that Alma had said that their gifts shouldn't define them and so to show that they weren't being defined by their gifts anymore the doors were left blank
I would also like to add something that didn’t really get talked about but the first initial sacrifice that Mirabel experiences is not receiving a gift at all and then her second sacrifice is above all wanting Antonio to have a gift. I truly believe that Mirabel and her acceptance and love of Antonio is the only reason he has a gift so it makes sense that she experiences that sacrifice for the sake of the second miracle where as the sacrifice that Pedro carried for the first miracle to occur only it was not receiving a gift rather than death. Especially when you consider that she had a door! She had a door that disappeared in a traumatic way so you can’t just be like “oh well that didn’t happen or she was never meant to have a gift the way she always did because Abuela didn’t have a door the way that everybody else did so the the point of Mirabel having a door is to essentially sacrifice her gift so she will go through the tragedy and loss of that and show if she is capable of holding the miracle. Casita coming down is not the only sacrifice Mirabel takes a lot of hits throughout her life and the biggest one starts when she at the age of seven does not get a gift and the door disappeared in front of her.
When Mirabelasked Bruno to see int he future, she noticed the gold butterfly which turned into the candle (candle that has a gold butterfly on it) and who is the one wearing butterflies on her clothes ? Mirabel ! Like the rest of her familly, her clothes are linked to her power (Bruno has hourglasses, Luisa has dumbells, Isabella has flowers etc). Butterflies are a symbol of hope and transformation, she transformed the point of view of everyone about themselves (Isabella and Luisa can see they are more than beauty and strength) and about others (how Abuela sees her family, how everyone sees Bruno) and she was hopefull and cares a lot about her family, which is why she was doing anything she could to prevent the crack to appear.
@@qdllc shreck 2 was amazing in my opinion. The other's where kinda bad. But Madagascar 2 is my favorite movie but the third one was quite disappointing. Kung Fu Panda 2 was also amazing but that's just my opinion. I just wanted to say that there's hope to get an amazing sequel
I didnt even know Encanto was in theaters... I thought it was a Disney+ release. Maybe Disney should stop crippling it's own movies by not marketing enough.
I think if Mirabel was given a gift I think her own gift would be to mimic all the other gifts Here’s why: All the members of the family (most notably the ones with gifts) have a symbol or little images on their clothing that represent their gifts Mirabel has woven all of those symbols on to her dress to dress like meany flowers for Isabella, weight lifts for Luisa, herbs for Julieta, a sun and rain cloud + a rainbow for Pepa, musical notes and sound waves for Deloris, a chamomile for Camilo and meant different animals for Antonio She also wears green glasses for Bruno That and the fact that she is always trying to prove that she is just a useful and special as the rest of her family And if she had that gift she could help her family learn more about their powers, fill in for them when needed and even teach new generations of gift welders how use their powers
Btw, I think that the doors of the rooms keep changing because each door shows the present image of each person. Everyone got there rooms at the age of 5 and Antonio looked 5, the others looked like they did during the time of the movie.........
This could mean that Isabela's gift could be not flower or ornamental plant based magic but plant based magic in general, ranging from frowers to trees to fruit.
Honestly if they don’t take into account the fact that the Encanto was irreparably damaged and the damage was not fixed by the second miracle then it’s gonna be very annoying to me personally because there is a specific scene where it shows that the mountain range that keeps them protected has a big Opening now.
I wonder now how the gift ceremonies will happen. Before the kid touches a candle but the new miracle doesn't have a candle but is just in the air. So how will the future children of the madrigals get their gifts? I would like a video about that. Love ur channel deluxe 😉
I do wonder if we get more from the people who attacked Alma and Pedro's village. They might not be just simple bandits but they were probably conquisadors
I think in Encanto 2 Mariano and dolores will have children and they will have magical gifts. And Mirabel will be the new candle and the new leader of the family madrigal.
I bet the sequel is about differences in generation. Mirabel would want to open the borders so people can go in and out. Alma, traumatized by the war, would want to keeo the borders up.
i have a theory when mirabels door faded it wasnt getting rid of the magic it absorbed itself into mirabel then at the end of the movie the magic that casita stored inside mirabel came out re enchanting the house (and to answer the question how did the magic stay inside mirabel i clung on to the magic of hope she had and as long as she kept that flame of hope burning the magic wouldnt fade then it was re-casted into the house) bringing it back to life.
I think she been influencing the magic before the second miracle the youngest door is different then all the others in the pictures of the members when they was younger the doors had the adult bodys but the newest door is a current form of the youngest child n the how was his different she was there at his side instead of abuela
@@SerialDesignationaN eh probably not, their movie making process is hard but not that long. They already have research but finding a plot for the next movie may take about a year or so. Maybe two or three years they’re tech is pretty advanced and efficient.
I hope not. As much as I love Encanto, (and I do) I don't want a sequel. There are so many ways to screw it up and so hard to repeat or build on the magic of the first film. (See any of the sequels to any animated Disney movie, blech! Especially Frozen 2. Frozen was so popular it was impossible to make something as good or better) Let it go, Disney. Move on to the next project, or you might end up with a Return to Snowy River.
I think frozen 2 is a bad example because I find it to be an amazing movie and I much rather watch that then frozen 1. but usual uea sequels aren't as good
Do not reply to this comment with swear words I mean it I hate swear words and don’t reply with a rude reply either if someone doesn’t like this comment then don’t reply at all. I thought of an idea and I know this is weird since reality-warping powers are not real but I’ll say it anyway because I wouldn’t be able to do it with time travel. If I had reality-warping powers, I would erase the Croods characters except for Ugga, the Disney dinosaur movie but I would use the deadly meteor shower scene it for my movie, and erase the movie Encanto from existence but I would use the three sisters from Encanto and make them cave girls and make a new movie called Disney Pixar cave people. I would combine the animations of the Disney dinosaur, the Croods, and Encanto. It would have the locations from Disney Dinosaur and the Croods in it and it would be 2 hours and 50 minutes long and make it a musical. It would even have action and adventure in it too. It would have the actresses who did the voices of the three sisters and other people who can sing amazingly. It would have the dinosaurs from Disney Dinosaur (only bigger) and more dinosaurs that we didn’t see in Disney dinosaur that can talk in this movie. Also In this movie, cave people can talk to the plant-eating dinosaurs and they jump high, swing on vines, and climb trees like the lemurs in Disney dinosaur. The meat-eater dinosaurs wouldn’t talk in this movie like they did in the Disney dinosaur movie. There would be more locations in this movie than there were in the Disney dinosaur and the croods movie. The character Aladar would still exist but he wouldn’t be the main character in the movie. The main characters are a family of cave people who live on an island with other cave families. The island looks similar to Lemur island from Disney dinosaur only bigger. There is a mother and a father who have four daughters, the cavewoman who strongly resembles Mirabel is the oldest, the cavewoman who strongly resembles Isabella is the middle daughter, the other two are the youngest and they are twins and both strongly resemble Luisa. The cavewoman who strongly resembles Mirabel is 22 years old, the cavewoman who strongly resembles Isabella is 19 and the twin cavewomen who strongly resemble Luisa are both 15. Also, the cavewoman who looks exactly like Mirabel has a husband who looks exactly like Mariano Guzmán from Encanto and has a daughter of her own named Suri who is 5 years old and looks like a female version of Disney's Tarzan when he was a child and she loves to swing on vines and slide on trees. She also likes to do a female Tarzan yell. The twin cavewomen who strongly resemble Luisa are very strong and taller than their sisters just like Luisa is in Encanto but not as tall and strong as her father and they have a close relationship with their niece Suri and always tries to be there for their niece. The cave sisters would have a grandmother who strongly resembles the grandmother from Encanto, a grandfather and three aunts, and three uncles. Ugga from the Croods would be the mother of those three cave girls. The movie would be about a family of cave people who are trying to find a new home after their island home is destroyed by massive deadly meteor showers. The cave family along with dinosaur companion Aladar are the only survivors. The rest of the cave families were killed by the deadly meteor showers. They will have to travel far and face many dangers that lie ahead of them. For example, Carnotaurs, T-rexes, pterodactyls water meat-eater dinosaurs, raptors, and spinosaurus. Even Earthquakes. There would be a scene where the twin cavewomen who look exactly like Luisa sings a prehistoric version of the song the lion sleeps tonight with their niece Suri while riding on Aladar just to be funny. It would be called the T-Rex sleeps tonight. I would use my reality-warping powers to have this movie released in 2025. This movie would be for adults too because it would have adult jokes in it and other adult things. It would have a different opening, it would show more of the island before it gets destroyed. The meteor shower scene would be longer and more deadly and massive.

I had a thought about this. What if “ gift” doesn’t mean good things. Like the dad gets stung by bees all the time . That could be his “ gift “

She IS the candle... The light of the family.. and she is the spirit of the house
Who realized Dolores on the front door was sad :D
Age of five, actually.
Hope we get a 2nd one 🤩
Me too!
I don’t. Sequels often ruin the story just to squeeze more money from the concept.
@@qdllc then you haven't seen dreamworks' sequels
@@oilcubebottle6389 - Shrek was DreamWorks...the later ones were bad.
I really hope there is a second one . I really loved this movie I actually almost cried because of the kindness she shown Bruno so did the youngest ❤️
All of their “gifts” are trauma responses and coping mechanisms due to generational trauma. Change my mind 😂
Watch them make the "sequel" a Disney Jr show that's too good for kids
We: want a sequel
* They announce a tv show instead *
Did they? :O
@@raspberry4262 not yet, but i would not be surprised if they did
I didnt even know Encanto was in theaters... I thought it was a Disney+ release. Maybe Disney should stop crippling it's own movies by not marketing enough.
Sequal? What? No!! They'll mess it up!! No!!
I think Mirabel is going to be the new matriarch
Rebuilding Casita is for me a family therapy. It must be!
I think if Mirabel was given a gift I think her own gift would be to mimic all the other gifts
Here’s why:
All the members of the family (most notably the ones with gifts) have a symbol or little images on their clothing that represent their gifts
Mirabel has woven all of those symbols on to her dress to dress like meany flowers for Isabella, weight lifts for Luisa, herbs for Julieta, a sun and rain cloud + a rainbow for Pepa, musical notes and sound waves for Deloris, a chamomile for Camilo and meant different animals for Antonio
She also wears green glasses for Bruno
That and the fact that she is always trying to prove that she is just a useful and special as the rest of her family
And if she had that gift she could help her family learn more about their powers, fill in for them when needed and even teach new generations of gift welders how use their powers
I’m obsessed with the movie so if encanto came I will become one of the characters 🥳🥳🤩🤩 I encanto comes really really soin 🥳🥳🤩🤩🤩
I think you need a therapist to address your encanto obsession
I swear if they announce encanto 2 on d23 2022 on september 8 or 9 im gonna die lol
Were the mountains that kept the place safe ever restored? I honestly don't remember that happening in the movie..
No
I misread the title as 'a second Mirabel' 🤦
What if since Mirabel now is basically the “person in charge” (you could say), what if they start treading her like how they treated Abuela?
She will set them all free
Wouldn't there be a third, as the magic shot through the village and surrounded each home and building? Any ideas of what that may have created?
I do wonder if we get more from the people who attacked Alma and Pedro's village. They might not be just simple bandits but they were probably conquisadors
Not conquistadors. The marauders are likely from the early 1900s.
I just think, that the doors are blank, because they need to pick, where they want their room to be.
yes! more of our favorite family! besides PALIcas LIlo and Stitch
So is Encanto2 out yet? Lol 😂
It’s not even a year old yet and it takes a long time to make movies like this.. y’all need to slow down.
Might take like 4 or 8 years to make
@@SerialDesignationaN eh probably not, their movie making process is hard but not that long. They already have research but finding a plot for the next movie may take about a year or so. Maybe two or three years they’re tech is pretty advanced and efficient.
👍🏾
My son can’t wait for a sequel.
there is a difference between familial love and love of family. that was the 2nd miracle
Omg just like Harry Potter. Parent died protecting, and resulted in a powerful spell (miracle)
4:37 do not pause
Jk maybe she has the power too increase her came powers cause their is always a chance any theory could be right
🧡💜
Has anyone noticed dolores is sad on the New door.
I seriously don't know where to watch this😃😃😃
Disney's Encanto 2
From adriana Parker
i feel its time to retire Movie theaters
anyone else agree???
I think frozen 2 is a bad example because I find it to be an amazing movie and I much rather watch that then frozen 1. but usual uea sequels aren't as good
And maybe we will see Dolores’s children
Please DO NOT spoil this movie by lousy sequel. None needs that.
Oi, not all sequels are bad, you snob! 😡👿
As an artist, we need that, we make our caracters live because WE love them

Mirabel didn’t get her gift bc she wiped the magic off her dress
soooo much extra words unneeded. please become more concise
