I hate to tell you this, but the theory falls flat when you remember that Bruno has been fixing the cracks from the inside the Casita for 10 years before Mirabel first saw one. Mirabel didn't cause the house to break apart. Abula did. She started fracturing the family by not remembering they're magical because of unconditional love. So the house started fracturing, first in imperceptible ways that are easy to ignore, like in any relationship. But when not one, but two of the people really felt like they were broken apart from the family, the family, and thus the house, started crumbling. Abula made everyone in the house terrified of her and doubt their own stability in the family when she made it VERY clear the love for her children and grandchildren was VERY conditional when she drove out her son and openly hated her granddaughter.
Mira took Abuela's power, leaving her the new matriarch. All of the magic from the candle was channeled through Mirabel from the moment she touched it, Casita itself became her "door" and the whole house was rebuilt to fit the needs of her and her family. She was already using her magic when she set the table with the house's help. It was falling apart because Abuela lost her power and couldn't keep it together any more, Mirabel didnt know she could.
I feel it's mostly true. Abuela didn't have any power. She was the caretaker of it. Mirabel touched herself before the door. So, Mirabel was her own gift, the hope the candle symbolizes. The strength of the candle now is based on the hope Mirabel holds. It wavered when she looked back at Abuela's worried expression. It also explains why the casita fell apart during Mababel's argument. She lost faith in herself and in turn the magic disappeared.
Well all the family members were able to interact with Casita so it was not unique to Alma and Mirabel it just happened the two of them interacted more with Casita then the others, Antonio also interacted with Casita before he got his gift then he focused allot of his animals.
I believe Mar’s gift is based on helping her family with their mental health and growth of there gifts. She won’t be able to harness that while in her room alone like the rest of them. She’s basically the future leader of her family sense Abuela won’t be there forever. It’s even symbolized in her hobby of sewing. Stitching everything/everyone back together.
bold of you to take a narrative that discusses how people who have been through trauma can overcome it and grow with or without spirituality/magic (which are often used to bypass said healing) and turn it into The Melancholy of Why Mirabel Is Literally God And Also Is Responsible For Everything Bad Ever
It looks like Abuela excluded Mirabel in Antonio's family picture. Pushed away from the family, as in "step away". Even though doesn't have no enemies in this, but it sets the end of 10 Thousands War in 1902. 50 years later, 1952. I do think it's the feelings between Mirabel and her Abuela, as if they both had the same gift. Guardian of the Candle. Mirabel wasn't feeling fine from the start. Cause her own Abuela pushed Mirabel aside. That cause Mirabel's heart to saddened. That's how casita to cracked.
I’ll stick to believing the theory that the Encanto didn’t give Mirabel a power because it chose her to be the next matriarch of the family for the generations born once Abuela passes away. The Encanto can be seen as a spiritual symbol for a monarchy in the real world, but instead of there being rules around who the next monarch is, the Encanto chooses who it’s next matriarch is
Her gift is the the candle she is the candle she is the gift the candle reacted to her feelings if you made her happy the gift was happy if you made her miserable the gift would collapse that's her power
The issue with the reality warping ability is that she believed the candle was the source of the magic so if she had reality warping abilities then the moment the candle burnt out she would have considered all magic to be gone for good which would have wiped away her reality warping abilities aswell. It was not until the talk with Alma by the river did she realize the magic came from the family but she would have already reality warped magic out of existence once the candle burnt out, she would not be able to reality warp magic back into existence if she has lost her reality warping abilities.
Really? But in the end she technically did get a gift after putting the doorknob in place. Casita came back to life because of her, casita only listens to her, she is the next candle holder.
In my headcannon Mirabels power was being able to channel Casitas power. Which was why when she touched the door after the rebuild the magic came back.
To be honest, I’m not a fan of this theory. Maybe it might be plausible but it just seems too complex. Plus it makes mirabel both the villian and the hero so if she gets praise for saving the days…good job for saving the day from a fate you created, like maybe she’s not such a good guy after all
Abuela was pressuring Pepa to put on smiles and keep clear skies instead of helping with her anxiety issues, forcing Isabell into an idealized image instead of guiding her growth, treating Luisa like a forklift rather than a granddaughter and had gotten so obsessed with the magic that she was neglecting her family, something she'd admitted to when they started rebuilding their house. Marabell cannot be legitimately blamed for any of that. Please tell whoever came up with that hypophysis that the emperor was not wearing any clothes.
Thanks to this theory. I always knew that I could fly, I am jumping off a cliff now. I believe I fl......... . Splat!!! .. .. .. Disney was wrong! Oh God, the pain!!
In another video, Mirabel's gift was being able to communicate with La Casita. She's the only one who understands the clattering of the floorboards when she begins her search for her uncle Bruno, and she asks Casita to help her out in singing the song "Madrigals".
As much as you see her as a Villain, you should rewatch the song Dos Oruguitas. She was putting so much pressure on them coz she didn't want to lose her home. She lost her old home and Pedro to colonialists.

Yup I believe this is the what happened, was pretty clear to me.
This is just. A theory anyway

it's so clickbaity it's meant to make her seem as bad as possible to get views

mirabel did have a gift she has creation powers and the candle gave her abuelas powers
Mirabel’s gift is empowering her family’s magic.
I hate that grandma. Can we get a video on her? I’m sure Alma has solicited a few theories

Linda nadirhoesein voice luisa ❤❤😊😊😊
Well I really doubt that because of a few facts and because that wouldn't seem like it would just fit
Mariebl got a new door 😊😊😊
Reality altering? Nah. She became the embodiment of the miracle and could affect the house and the gifts.
