- We moved back to the top of the Premier League after beating Luton Town 2-0 to extend our unbeaten league run to 10 matches.
The damage was done before half-time as Martin Odegaard opened the scoring on 24 minutes before an own goal from Daiki Hashioka doubled our lead just before the interval.
A much-changed side then managed the second half to secure the three points that saw them leapfrog Liverpool at the division’s summit, at least until Thursday night when the Reds are next in action as our title challenge continues.

Glad to see Smith Rowe back on the pitch and in the starting lineup as his performance was excellent especially in the first half. Hopefully he can stay injury free and has more game time.

@@lxealish76 but they don't play the same position, trossard is a winger/supporting striker...ESR is a midfielder who can now and then play on the wings but prefers the CAM, it's just that we have odegaard who's on another level...however ESR is an amazing baller...

I've been an Arsenal fan since I was about 8, watching guys like Wright, Adams, Keown, Parlour. I really like their lineup and how they're playing. It's been so long since they've lifted the EPL trophy. I hope this will be the year.

@@Emirateglobe Well, we win with 2 first choice wingers replaced, a kai havert that havent been playing a forward for months, a thomas partey that havent been playing for almost the whole season, emile smith rowe that never started, zinchenko that always been the liability at the back ... Almost half of the first team replaced literally.
Saliba, white Gabi and the other defenders make me proud. They give so much confidence to the Frontline guys going going forward.
Arteta need to play ESR more even if its for the last 30 minutes in every game. He is an impact player and will offer solutions in games we are struggling

I still remember when odegard was new in arsenal ,he hardly took shots. I remember being frustrated by that and now , he is our clinical finisher even better than strikers. His work rate, his hunger to win the ball and his magical footworks. I love him so much and i think he is our best man over saka.

Hard working ESR was crucial in both goals! Hope he continues gaining good health....Arsenal's campaigns Premier and Europe might need him as a key component! We now have Rice and Partey as good midfielders (Odegaard should be counted as a "Bergkemp type" second striker now). However, Jorghino is somewhat lacking when against tough opponents. Therefore Smith-Rowe has better stay fit and take up the midfield 3....
