Why didn't these guys become more famous? Their arrangements and vocals are the best I've heard in my life, and I remember when I first heard their songs on my sister's 8-track in 1978! Dating myself here, but still the very best of a highly underrated group. Thanks for posting it.

i was stationed in Augsburg West Germany in the eighties . heard lots of good music ..loved my time there . some of the best times of my life to date .thanks to the German people !
I had spent a few months in europe in 1977 and when i came back to the US my musician friends were stumbling all over themselves raving about this German band " LAKE "....thanks for bringing it all back to me...still sounds superb 30 + years later....
i have this on album .. thanks for jarring some brain cells here . very underrated band that got lost in the seventies music explosion . there are quite a few out there that somehow got lost . thanks again for the quality upload . .

cool I finally found something from Lake :) I know Detlef Petersen, and I tried to find something on youtube but until now I did'nt found something.
Man this song takes me back in time!! I always thought Lake's first & third (Paradise Island) were their best albums, Lake II was alright too........
