As for the extra strong super glue, I find it works well to dip a straightened paper clip into the glue, and apply it that way, because a drop is generally too much of the strong stuff.

I just fixed a bootleg sh figuarts vegito with the superglue trick, IT WORKED LIKE A DREAM! I'm so excited right now because this is my first time modifying a figure, AND I needed a Vegito figure.

Does the hot water remove paint and after you put it in the hot water will it become easier to come off all the time and dose the same apply to the hair dryer and how long does it take for you to take them off?

For a stuck thigh swivel that won't move at all, would you recommend heating it up? I worry that it will soften the plastic and just twist/rip the joint inside and break

DC Direct Green Lantern Action Figures series 1published in 2005 by DC Direct.
The arm shoulder joints break easily and require replaced.

Spider Man 2, I had one of those bad boys growing up, and ALWAYS talk about how elite it was as a toy. Absolute favorite, even after the fingers on the left hand came off. I treated my action figures well and didn't like to share, and that was why. Next time the leg got ripped off, and my Iron Spider figrue got it's arm broken off. I was almost happy when I started getting bullied for "playing with dolls" after 10. Almost... still made me stop playing with them at 14, and sold them all when I moved out at 19. Huge mistake....

I have a question I have a 1/6 scale figure that has a custom head I put together (face and hair came separately) and when I put the two together there is a gap that keeps showing when I move it, it’s on her hair line on her forehead where the hair and her forehead meet.
What can I do to help keep it from happening. I tried putting cotton balls in the extra space behind her neck too keep it from moving but it ends up the same way sadly.
Any help or suggestions? Also I can show more about it in a email if we can talk there, let me know okay, also this is indeed my first ever custom head I mocked together.

My SROE Goku got his neck joint broken. Not the head or the Neck but the actual joint. It broke while my friend was playing with him a year or 2 ago I think. It recently broke again in the same place 😭

The broken parts can be reconnected , yes it involves superglue but also a metalic wire(this can be obtained from paper clip) and also precision and technique.Make a deep hole(in the center) to both broken parts in order for the metalic wire to fit and put superglue to the end parts of the wire and also put superglue around the holes of both broken parts .In the end when the superglue has dried then put supergluer around the connected area.From an estetic point of view it won't be appealing.

I am happy this was in my recommended feed! I will definitely try the pledge floor care method for the joints on my Indoraptor figure; it is already getting loose in some places.
For tightening joints, I use clear nail polish, which dries in minutes or seconds.
I used nail polish for my super saiyan full power goku's legs and it did not work very good

@@suhtangwong Yeah but I discovered a new way that works really good: small paper towel piece. Just put the paper towel piece over the ball joint, put the leg on, and boom just like new

Highly recommend silicone shock oil for loosening tight or stiff joints. Designed for professional RC car shocks, it's safe on plastic or metal and way more effective than soap or hot water.
Had great success on brittle nendroid joints, and fragile locked/squeaky joints for a Chogokin Fireball Charming Drossel.
I will be using the super glue & accelerator trick on Gotenks’ face

I have a mafex Batman where his leg joint snapped and I used loctite to put it back together but it just keeps breaking apart. I would love if I could fix him and if you have any tips please tell me. What's the best method to fix a loose bicep swivel on a Mafex Spider-man? The bicep piece slides over the elbow joint mechanism. I need to tighten the peg that goes into the deltoid. Is nail polish safe to use to "thicken" pegs?
