If you have spent any time watching my channel, one thing becomes apparent, and on this, I depend; not as an element in the final product, but a necessity that without I would be lost. The work holding method I use has received a lot of criticism, but it works, and I have found that its popularity is growing; I hope you will try it and share your success and failures so that we might all learn. If you haven't picked up on it yet, I'm talking about CA glue. Starbond has generously kept me well-stocked with their product, and I couldn't be happier with the quality and for though they have put into both their marketing partners as well as their products. Try them out; the value will speak for itself, and if you are going to pick some up anyway, use the link in the description and help me keep making videos like this one. Thanks for watching, and a big thanks to Starbond for supplying this fantastic product.
One of the tricky bits in this so-called art with more than one parallel to science is fitting two parts together. It seems simple, and in principle, it is; in reality, the simple is never as innocent as it seems. I have been foiled many a time by the dimensions provided in documentation; with these seemingly blatant dimensional errors and the differences in tolerance and variance in materials, there has to be a way to make these parts fit precisely. Having the part in hand is essential; no way around it; it's an absolute. Start with the know dimensions and be ready to step out and alter the design to fit when necessary. I had to extend the truss rod length to another 0.02", increase the stock to leave on the rod from 0.005" to 0.01", and subtract even more stock to leave from the truss rod nut pocket. The dynamic nature of this kind of work, I think, accentuates the blurry lines between the design and manufacture of parts, and I think it is easy to see how valuable Fusion360 is in this process.
-Check out my website. I would be happy to make an unfinished guitar, bass, or any string instrument for you. The standard method to support what I do here, both as Ideas and projects that you will see on the channel. Do you have an idea that you think would look awesome in one of these videos? Let's make it! If you need a router template set to make your design, I make those too!

-Patreon members pay $1 per month and get access to a lot of the live stream and project build Fusion 360 files, including full 3d models, CAD, and CAM. If your learning Fusion360 and following along with the live streams, this is a great way to support the content.

Thanks to Oak Studios for the music; I'm trying something different, and so far, I like it. Check them out, and let me know what you think of the music.
