How is it possible that.. a person who doesn't actually exist in real life is able to open my heart easily..Best scene in my opinion.
the writer is a real person, and the words comes from a real mind
I feel the same way when she spoke those words. I want to believe there is still good but I can't help keep seeing that there is still to much ugliness and darkness in this as well. Change can sometimes be hard to come by no matter how much you do. But I don't care if this is fiction, if she believes there is still good to this world, then I will do my best to keep believing it.
There is a lot of evil in the world, but there’s also genuinely a lot of good. People like to claim that such an outlook is naive, that the world is unfair and rotten, but if you ask me, they’re the ones who are naive. It’s so easy to see pain, misery and suffering if that’s all you look for, but the world’s also filled with a lot of genuinely good people as well.
Gold Wade we just got to keep working and keep advancing. Eventually we’ll become so advanced it won’t make sense to be a horrible person anymore.

I don't even know this anime and I'm crying.
kino has always been about philosophy and how humans react with each other , the creator of this anime study human behavior for years and then he came up with this concept
She’s simply a visionary and sage ahead of her time. She sees a worth in reality that most are blind to and speaks of a future that will eventually come to pass by the ever evolving collective will of the cosmos.
Evil is just a passing brokenness. It is an unnecessary thing and the universe is learning this. It will be transcended in time.
That was just overbearingly pseudo
Captain Cap
It’s the teaching and understanding of countless philosophers, spiritualists, and deities throughout all of recorded history. Jesus, Buddha, Ra, Thoth, Hermes, Plato, the Lakotas, the Hindus, and on, and on the same story has been foreseen and told over and over. Humanity has a habit of forgetting but destiny comes to pass regardless.
Thankfully, anything less than this eventuality is in fact pseudo.
You quite understood the whole thing. There's people saying that she is naive, but she is no talking about the present. Good job pointing out that.

Dude I agree with NightOwl here. She is a child, she does not understand anything. Yeah it's cute and all to see a child saying that everyone is good inside and that we can all live in a happy place together, but when you get older that just isn't the case. I use to think the world was full of good people and there were no bad people and I wouldn't hate or resent anyone. That was a huge lie.
Also "Doing something bad makes you feel bad"? What does this mean man? Because I can tell you that there is a religion out there right now that hangs people for daring to be attracted to their own gender, and they feel really good about doing that. NightOwl is being a realist here. Sorry dude. I think the kid is wholesome and cute too, and if I was the man I would probably want to protect her and keep her safe so she could keep thinking her way, but she is incredibly naive.
Let's not forget this is an anime, which idealizes reality to suit the plot, is all a facade, don't even try and compare it to the real world we live in...
Kino's journey have so much yet to offer
Outstandingly beautiful
I order every human being on Earth to protect her at all cost. Yes, she is now living a happy life but we need to protect her and her smile with our lives.
A wonderful speech and a beautiful sentiment... That invariably gets other people oppressed and killed. Being willing to sacrifice anything to stay alive isn't strong moral principle, it's a refusal to take responsibility for yourself and the welfare of others. As the episode demonstrates.
This girl seriously needs to read some Machiavelli. It’s good to be good and humble, but only with those who deserve it...
She's so precious.i'm proud of her
I can't believe ppl called her naive......how corrupt are we?
Cause its life
Yes.
Are they wrong? 😂 This the type of mentality that gets you killed and in the real world, people don't think twice about people like this. Dog eat dog world, survival of the fittest, only the strong survive, etc.
Genesis. The Fall.
@@Naruto200041 That mentality doesn't explain kindness. Nor compassion, forgiveness, morals, etc. If only might makes right, then why have seemingly weak ideas endured?
“if a lot of people loved each other the world would be a better place to live”
-Tommy Wiasseu -
I wish I could have that. I wish I could look at the world and see it as a place of endless opportunity for good. But I just can't. I look at the world and see missed chances. I want to belive that one day humanity will be able to overcome its differences and come together. But that won't happen in this age, or the next or the one that follows. And in all honesty I've given up on this iteration of humanity.
Her eyes look so on the brink of death but she's holdin on and peaceful also. She wants them to change.
John Locke vs Thomas Hobbs
On the nature of humans
Thomas Hobbs is the obvious winner but John Locke also has his perks just not so much on human nature because I believe Thomas Hobbs standpoint to be a lot more "human in nature" while John Locke is uninventive.
@@genericxboxlivegamertag2826 The fact that you call Hobbes the "obvious winner" just exposes your ignorance. There's a reason why philosophy has endured - there's *_never_* an obvious winner, just a continuing line of different perspectives meshing and colliding with one another.
@@joshuafogg6600 And his perspective is that John Locke isn't the winner. If there's no right answers then you can't say his answer is ignorant as that implies you think his answer is wrong. Which would mean there is a correct answer.
@@PoggoMcDawggo I think he's just stating that there isn't a clear winner. He's not siding with one side over the other. He's just stating that no one side is completely correct

Always want the motorcycle from Kino's Journey to become real for real life enjoyment. Hopefully they make more of these anime in the near future
It's definitely a powerful statement. Considering her situation I don't think she is naive, rather I think this statement is an ideal she puts her faith in and puts forward into the world. People often do cruel things simply because they conform to the idea that "Life is Cruel." Refusing to accept such a world is often a important step in changing the world for the better, cause optimism can be just as contagious as pessimism
That right there is what "hope for humanity" looks like; beaten and tarnished but nonetheless unwavering.
