That Mr. Perez is looking particularly fine on this video right down to his cufflinks and boutonnière. Besides being a fantastic musician he sure is a classy dresser. "Sharp dressed man!" The Entire band looks and sounds phenomenal as always. Raul is wonderful. Thanks for the wonderful music.
I'm 67 and had a hard eastern WE with some mental problems - today I found the Mavericks on youtube and would like to dance and swing. It's unbelieveble, the sound moves straight to the legs.

There are some bands and performers who do not get the publicity and acclaim they rightly deserve. The Mavericks and Raul Malo are in that category. They are truly one of the premier performing bands in our generation. They have a long history of satisfying audiences all over the world, and are just as good now as they ever were. Hope to see them on a future theme cruise after Covid is under control. Raul Malo's vocals just get better and better every year...!
They ENJOY what they do - they get along very well - they respect one another without egos - and they are all good musicians. They satisfy their fans everywhere they go. They are down to earth and will play anywhere just for you. YES this band deserves MUCH MORE RECOGNITION than they have. They are THAT GOOD!

Yessss !! I just bought my tickets ti finally see the Mavericks in person ,Live ! Oct.19th in my home town.I can,t wait.I discovered these guys by chance.I was watching them on my phone,and I was instantly hooked by their style of music and rhythm.I don,t know why i had not heard of them years earlier, but better late than never.
One way to discribe the Mavericks is they are a big party on stage.So much going on at once ,never a dull moment with these guys.Looks like it would be a heck of alot of fun to play in a band like this They must love what they do. Keep the awsome music coming, You rock🤘

Found this group by chance last summer. All the musicians are great and talented and blend perfectly with Raul. When you need to an uplift, their music & videos are the best medicine.

In Europe and especialy in The Netherlants and The U.K. ; the Mavericks are very populair . They put a fine shot of Latin their Country or Country in their Rootsmusic ! And they have a lot of cd's & dvd's sales !

Really a great experience. I saw them three time in 2022...so far! If you want great concert with fun guys in the band, go see the Mavs. They are on tour now and it is a pretty extensive schedule.
@@googoo-gjoob Well God made him a better bed. He's been sober for several years now. He's completely changed his life around and is one of the kindest people you will ever meet on the planet. He's also a great advocate in advising others not to go down that path. I love Robert. He's the best.

@@googoo-gjoob Well, I wish it would have happened before he had to be let go as well. I really love The Mavericks and it's a shame they had to be put in that position to have to fire him. And I know they tried to get him help before it came to that and it certainly isn't their fault. He left them no choice. But all said and done, Robert is a good man that just made a bad choice. It happens...all over the place it happens. I still love The Mavericks and I still love Robert.

Hope to get to see these guys live in concert someday. My mom had (or still has) their "What A Crying Shame" album and it was what introduced me to their sound. Hearing "Born To Be Blue" at an old job of mine sparked my interest in them again and slowly over the years, I've been finding more and more songs of theirs that I really like, so hopefully I'll be in an area where they might be touring through or something to that effect
