    We're so very lucky to have interesting personalities lodged into the bodies of people who can accept themselves and make life better for everyone around them by giving off the Joy to be found in finding your True Self. few MEN are so very Brave as Grayson Perry

    I think Grayson is great. He lives his life how he choses to live his life. Society likes to put people in boxes, but you can't compartmentise individuals because we are all different. Good for him.

    He still got exhibitions because of the frocks, rather than his artistic abilities, though. While actual women in all fields of art (embroidery, dance, pottery, illustration), have been cancelled because of the prevailing orthodoxy.

      Not everyone likes the comfort of our current social etiquette, It's refreshing to see daring people embrassing who they feel inside. It's not as If conformed looking people were a minority on this Earth! A little fantasy creates more diversity and Grayson Perry is surely having fun with himself.

      What's a man in a dress in this giant universe ? No matter who you think this man is (or all the people you associate him with who trigger your sensibility), It won't alter or degrade Life. Life is just bigger than us and our moral standards. But If you find meaning in persecuting "odd people" like him, please go ahead, It will surely make this world a better place.

    • @Sikanda.
      @Sikanda. 8 лет назад +4

      This lad is far from being a threat, he's doing It for himself and doesn't promote any extremist dogmas like other groups would do (Social Justice Warriors for instance). People who question the gender aesthetic, for the sake of self exploration and freedom like Grayson, are still currently not fully accepted or understood by the public opinion. Questioning the nature of gender roles established by archaic traditions has one core idea : Seeking more equality and happiness. You're free to demonize him with your binary perception but I feel this topic is just an excuse for you to express negativity without reflecting on your own words or anyone else's for that matter. Have a good day.

      Extremism : -
      Literally defined as "The holding of extreme political or RELIGIOUS views".
      There is nothing political or religious about someone dressing in something you don't want them to wear.
      Murdering, assaulting, insulting or harassing someone for dressing in a piece of fabric deemed "wrong" by a stupid construct even though it doesn't in any way affect your life is extremism.
      Not extremism : -
      Him dressing in a piece of fabric deemed "wrong" by a stupid construct that doesn't in any way affect your life.
      And thankfully yours is the extreme ideology that's coming to an end.
      Fuck religion. Go back to the stone ages and worship your imaginary cloud man. There is no place and no reason for such childish fairy tales to have such power in an advanced society.

    Men should wear dresses if only not to have trouser crutch being uncomfortable. Guys have bits between thier legs girls don't. There should be masculine skirts or dresses out there. As for dressing like a girl or woman why not, stacks of girls are dressing in male type attire. So who are the crossdressers.

    • @jeremysmith54565
      @jeremysmith54565 2 года назад +1

      Men used to actually wear a kind of dress back in Medieval times

      @@jeremysmith54565 they did indeed. But the French invented the Pantaloons. Much better for riding horses for military. Skirts of a sort are still worn by men in the world. We are the ones with dangle bits. There's nothing worse than having crotch trapped in trousers when sitting.

      No he's nottt. Literally story of my life. But apparently his is seen as unique/profound. Where other who lived same story aren't taken seriously. Cause we only take seriously opinion of those respect but we don't respect we don't believe even though others could have been same thing as him. I can't stand him. I actually can't. Acts so egotistical in his ''unique'' experience as if anyone else never experienced it like him or outmatch profound wisdom. Just spitting out into teacup for everyone else who had/went through same story but wasn't listened. Taking credit for everyone else's story. Where they ignored/not listened.

    'Risk is a huge aphrodisiac'.
    There was no risk without an unsuspecting audience to view/interact with him. His aphrodisiac relied on the participation of others.
    This is a private fetish that escalated into public exhibitionism.

    I have mad respect for Mr. Hall because I respect people who are true to themselves. That's why the trans movement makes me cringe because it's not about being who you are it's literally changing your name, physique, voice, and identity into someone you're not. I don't understand why men feel they have to castrate themselves just to do traditionally female things. When you think about it, the only things that are truly male or female are things that people wouldn't be able to do even if they did transition. Giving birth is uniquely female and that's something a trans woman could never do. Having a cock and balls, swinging it around, shooting semen out of it...these things are uniquely male which a trans man could never do. So if being a man or woman to you means doing traditional activities and dressing a certain way why not just do them?

    Tell me why this guy as has a voice. But countless others who have lived exact same story have NONE... Exactlyyyy.... (shrug \o/)
    Hes believed but minute we speak mouths ignored/non listened to and left to feel as though others logic was stronger than ours. When it was exact same. Maybe even more so. Most unfair form of favouritism if i saw it. But anything III say about (yes me) it is swept away...
    Some people literally live their LIVES by philosophy but are listened to? No... Because respect/personal respect matters more than full objective truth. But unfortunately respect = belief power/ability to be believed. I'm so sacred and unique soul. Getting on my nerves mate. Thought suppose to share equally. If brought similar minded people into it then I'd be least bit more content. I feel vast majority being left out. Tell me how consider that FAIR? That many of us with same truth are hold by different standard than another person with same truth. Think about logically. To me Feels umbalanced to say anything else. I equate everything society with justice and treating peoole equally/equal respect. Or equal respect in relation to truths they know. So what happens to others who's truths did not come out/believed, just left to rot? In silence?

      He's a fraud. Taking credit in name of others who had/lived same story but were unlistened to/ignored outright. Cause society can't see hypocrisy in own actions. Look at me I'm unique individual, I'm the only one to have ever gone through experience. No just had fame. Fame and right eye caught. In right moment. Nice bloke or not. He's treading on others experiences like his. While trying to give some unique characteristic/special meaning.
      He's like James blunt. Another artist trying to be profound in others names.oj yeah and all pompous and special look at me. Surprised to know story is EVERYTHING that I have been through. Do I get listened to? No. It's someone else who more respected. Cause truth doesn't matter on people's eyes on respect or being liked or being favouritism'd. I'm such a man, I'm sacred I don't give a shit. Some people live lives that way and don't end up bringing attention to themselves.

      @Marianne Havisham a "real man" is one that doesnt wear a skirt or make up, a real woman is one that acts like a lady.
      I find it odd that you have to ask??
      My wife isn't physically able to do my job.
      Im not mentally able to do her job.
      My point being is, without the correct balance in our society our society is bound to fail.
      Men in skirts is not the way forward, i know a few gay men/woman, and their sexual preferences aren't an issue, they live their lives without all the drama of advertising it, a bit like straight men and woman...as it should be!!
      Gay/straight, black/white,, stop with all the drama and just be nice to one another before we all end up in a world if sh1t.

      There is so much more to life than man and woman, black and white, wet or dry. Yes, we do live in a world of opposites but this just means that there is a whole gray area and spectrum of life to be explored and enjoyed. The human condition is diverse and dynamic. It would be a boring unprogressive world if everybody were the same and did the same things. Live and let live. Treat people how you would like to be treated yourself.
