Merlin I must say that Quilt was all my wife's idea. I never asked or mentioned anything about it. I was out in my shop working on my Dune buggy one afternoon and she came out and showed me what she was doing. I was impressed. That is her thing. When covid kicked off, I was caught in between trucking jobs because I couldn't get tags for my truck for the new company I was leasing too. Two months I couldn't go trucking. I spent part of that time building her a sewing room in the basement. She has made a bunch of Quilts in the past few years.

I though cars were addictive! We have some quilters in the family and it is quite the addiction and I know the amount of work that goes into one so good of your wife to do that for Merlin. 😂 It looked good what I could see of it.

merlin, i am a 60 year old guy here that has been a car and truck nut from birth, but i dont have the welding, machining, imagining knowledge that you do at all. it simply amazes me how much you know how to do! i mean look around folks! lol,,,,old school gas, new school gas, diesels, airplanes? boats, sandrails, jet skis, you name it. some people are born to love these things, and some people are born with the ability to see it in their mind and also have the ability to fix it themselves. i sure do admire your knowledge, and the time you take to show us what you can do. it inspires a lot more people than you realize i am sure,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,keep em' coming!

Every time I watch your channel, it never ceases to amaze me. I would love a video of your origin story. How did you acquire all the knowledge about building cars from scratch like you do. It's impressive. I'm so glad to whoever convinced you to start a channel. It's better than anything on TV.

he has covered a lot of it over different videos. there was a great one about 8 episodes ago where he did some road triping in his model A i want to say. it was a good one. some of it i dont think he can talk a lot about because of contracts with a tv show he was on for a season or 2 . veagas rat rods i want to say but i may be wrong. but if you find the show and watch his talent there and then watch a bunch of videos on the past here you will hear a lot of it. hope this helps

Most guys would just throw a set of Model A mounts in there and put an entire Model A motor and trans. You go the hard way and make an adapter to stick a Model A trans on the back of a Model T mill. Dang! Impressive! I'm on your Shopify right now looking around. Well done, man! I'm a year older than you, but you have accomplished more.

He has a 1924 GMC K16 flatbed 98% original and it runs and drives. He is selling it for $8,000 on the F-book marketplace. It is cool. He likes showing people how it works whenever people stop over or we have our summer garage sale. He has a 1930's Chrysler 2 door (suicide doors) coupe. there are so many old cars on this property I love living here.
