@@laurame4301 I think it all started when Ronald Reagan chose to shut down federal mental health facilities throughout the country after he got shot. All those thousands of people were released onto the streets with no way to support them or help improve their situations. He also gave our insurance companies permission to gut their support of psychiatry and psychology, so people could no longer afford to get help. As such, our homeless populations exploded and more and more people were left to languish in terrible situations. More that forty years later, we have a major political cult that has almost destroyed the country. Once President Biden wins the election, and we have Democratic majorities in the Senate and the House, we ALL need to correspond with our representatives to change our laws to better protect mental health services and the people that need them!

They needed to believe that their sacrifices meant something Many years afterthe war, . they wore a patch on their jackets “You don’t understand” and when we asked about it we were told ‘“Don’t Ask” The boys who came home, were not met with a hero’s welcome, they were spit on and called names and held responsible for bad things that happened over there. The bottom line is that they were killed, or wounded, and their minds were wounded, So many suffered PTSD and the VA did not respond or acknowledge the cancers that were caused by exposure to Agent Orange, nor did the VA respond with treatment for PTSD. They endured all these things because they were serving their country in a foreign war. Some were drafted, some enlisted but they served !! Others left their country to avoid the draft. Politicians and elected members of government made the decision to send troops to South VietNam. it was a Republic, under threat of communist aggression. My brother, age 18 died there, he was awarded a medal from the RVN ,, posthumously. However, his name is engraved on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in WA DC . it was a belated but well deserved recognition and honor. for our VietNam Veterans. I live in the US, in Arizona. I have a daughter who wants to have another child. She already has had one ectopic pregnancy discovered at 8 weeks before Roe went down, but had she been not able to have that surgery she would not be here now. sorry me and the wife have been away. It seems as if a fire at our apartment wiped us out. just me and the wife and our two dogs made it out SAFE. Thank You Lord. We traveled around a bit and were going to settle in Huntsville, but wound up down near the coast in Alvin,Texas. It is so great having a roof over our heads and things going back to normal. May 3rd sounded like canons going off. We were lucky. we had insurance, others are not that lucky and you can lose it all in a minute. Vote Blue for Love and Peace of mind . Long ago, I stopped talking about whether 45 could "win" (what a nightmare that would be) but instead simply saying "What if 45 gets back into the White House?" Your reading tonight really helps me, because I've been worrying about so many different scenarios that could play out... Scenarios where this orange dictator gets back to the White House, and nearly all of them have had nothing to do with him "winning" the election, but instead getting there through violence and true election interference. I live in a red state full of guns for trump, and I'm not going to lie when I say that I'm still scared about local violence in my own state. 😔 Thank you for giving me hope that after all that might happen, democracy will prevail! 💙💪💙💪💙

Their whole premise seems squirrely to me - a nation with no government? How would that even work? And, you're right - who'd pay the police and then what if someone's found guilty? No jails? Makes no sense.

The plan is probably for the Corporations to just step up and take over responsibility for governance. It's not too far a step from where they already are.
