Fortinet Fortigate Firewall Initial Setup CLI & GUI

In this video you can watch how to setup initial parameters on Fortinet Fortigate firewall. I have used EVE-NG to demonstrate and setup and initial lab for learning purpose. The lab is based on FortiOS 6.4.5.

Please tell me, the gateway in this configuration is a PC?

Gateway is my physical router IP, PNETLab is connected to physical machine network via VMware Network, form PC to my physical router

I followed the steps here, and I'm getting 100% packet loss when pinging any other host on my network
any advice?

nvm, I figured it out. must be a difference in the physical firewall. I don't have ports labelled "port1" and such. had to edit the mgmt port instead. was able to ping after that
