Hey, new viewer here so I don't know if you listen to him or not, but Devin Townsend's song "Starchasm pt 2" has a cool change of tempo similar to how Sybreed mixes it up. Think it would be worth a listen for ya.
Holy shit this is not a track I'd ever expect to see here! Unfortunately they broke up quite a while ago but I remember seeing them in 2010 and what a show!

Any fans of Sybreed should check out Mechina and Conflict as well. Also check out Subliminal Fear's last album, total Sybreed worship and all-around amazing album.
No shot you're actually reacting to Sybreed!! I fucking love these guys. So sad they're not active anymore. I wouldn't have picked this one for a reaction but it's a good one none the less
Great one! Possibly my favorite recording for this style of music. What makes it so good is the fact that it's NOT over-produced like we see by so many other artists in this genre. Bioactive is truly special that way. Beautifully written, performed, and recorded.
We've got Sybreed on the channel, hell yes Geebz! They are one of my favourite bands, they've got such an amazing and unique sound. Let me recommend some of my favourite songs by them: Ethernity Twelve Megatons Gravity Isolate Permafrost A Radiant Daybreak Next Day Will Never Come Reevolution Machine Gun Messiah (arguably their heaviest song)
Kinda djenty, yeah. I think these guys kinda predated the term "djent" (or at least the popularisation of it describing a whole style or genre) but I definitely always felt there was a Meshuggah influence to the riffing.
YOOOO SYBREED I THOUGHT THAT THEY HAD BEEN FORGOTTEN 😭♥️😭♥️ LOVE THIS BAND SO MUCH If you like this, you absolutely must check their track "Plasmaterial." Hands down my most favorite song by them
So happy to see this! I came across this track and album last year (the cover looked like my cup of tea so I clicked it) and it felt like coming home. It still gives me chicken skin after a year of listening to it at least once a week and I'm just mad that I didn't find Sybreed in 2004 cos I was dying for something like this then. As always, you got the vibe and picked out the best elements! Great job!
Maaan, what a surprise! Love these guys, I'm a sucker for more Sybreed on Your channel. Definitely recommend ReEvolution, Orbital, Doomsday Party, The Line of Least Resistance. Each from every album, enjoy!
I like this band. Don't know why they have always been kind of under the radar and underrated. This song in particular is driving energy and pumps me up. Would be a great gym tune.
I love this band so much and "Cyber Metal" is the most appropriate "label" that i use to give them. Fear Factory was the band that created this style, btw.
Yes! Not a lot of people know about Sybreed, one of my favorite bands in highschool thank you for checking them out! Sad they aren’t a band anymore. But the singer Ben and guitarist Drop still make music together! 🤘🏻
Love these guys. Drop, the guitarist is involved in a lot of various projects and comes up with some insane riffs and does a lot of the mixing and synth stuff. Wish I could have seen them live.
Sybreed would go on to experiment more with their sound in later albums. Things get outright _weird_ when it comes to Antares at times (the album following Slave Design)
These guys have been my favorite band hands down for the last 16 years, I still jam them every day. I'm thrilled you got around to them finally. If you want a recommendation for the next album in there line up "Antares" I would suggest the song "Isolate" as the best step from here. (In my opinion anyway)
I just recently discovered Sybreed and have been chugging through their albums one by one. I gotta say - I'm impressed. All their albums have been a great experience for me.
