When you said you're on radial 320, you're actually on radial 140. Your course to vor is 320.

Outstanding video! I am about to start my recurrent sim trainning in which it will be necessary to use the standby NAV function. Since we rarely use that feature in real life, I wanted a refresher on how to manipulate the RMP in this mode. Thank you Captain!

I wish I had the time to do so. But I have already posted lots of these kinds of videos. I know they are showing the FSLabs A320 but literally everything is also valid for the FENIX, Toliss and FBW.

Let’s say I need to track radial outbound from a VOR , would you enter the reciprocal since it’s only CRS you can select on RMP ?

Good question. Maybe because it can also serve a LOC frequency and not a full ILS. But only an engineer from Airbus will know for sure.
Great vid! However, is the RMP used for STBY NAV unable VHF then?
Well VHF still works, but indeed, in order to change VHF Comm Frequencies, you need to deselect the backup navigation mode.

Hi. Either a GPS signal loss or receiver fault. Not much you can do there. It will recover automatically if the signal returns or the system resets itself.

What is the 163° displayed on the top center even if the heading is around 125°?
That is a so-called „Grid Heading“. Grid north is a navigational phrase used to refer to the northward on a grid lines in a map projection. The ND normally wouldn’t display Grid North reference at the airport Rovaniemi, so it seems to be a bug in the FENIX.
