Out of the box it does NOT run (for me) with 3s, but only with 2s! You can probably reprogram the ESC with the GoolRC programming card. The components you see there are not part of the RTR. I'll show you the components I use to convert it into a speed run car. 3,000mAh is too big and too heavy. Take a 3s up to max. 2,200 mAh with HIGH C number. I think the best are the "ZIP Power" 3s Lipos with 1,500 mAh and 100C! They are cheap - buy two and you have long driving times with lots of power. Stock, as I said, 3s don't work! So to say it again clearly. Out of the box he drives pretty fast with 2s. Even faster with good 100C 2s ZIP Power Lipos. I just want to drive it at around 180 km/h - so I'm rebuilding it, as you can see here.
What battery would you say to buy for 3s? 3000mah 11.1v what. (C) is it to go for 3s ? Every part stock?
