This is probably the most unfortunate and time wasting outcome. In my honest opinion they need to just halt development of Wizard101 for a solid year or two and work on an engine port to a more relevant engine that will improve performance and make it easier to port the game to console/mobile. My $3000 PC performs worse on this game than my $300 laptop which is just strange that the engine is so limiting. I have said this for a while now, I honestly can't wait for the game to die and for it to just be tossed out by Gamingo so a third party project spirals up just like Toontown/Club Penguin have. It will be way more healthy for the game when absolutely no one profits and runs the game servers purely from the heart.

A brand-new player has far more chance if they are playing on the main North American server. There will be no help for Mount Olympus, Water Works, darkmoor or anywhere else. There won't be a single good pet to hatch. There won't be players offering tips and advice. There won't be players with treasure cards to spare to help. There won't be players with reagents that they can sell to help. It's going to be a completely barren community with very few of the current players making a brand-new account when you can't even meet old friends. To say this is baffling is an understatement. If you played before and watched big you tubers like blaze life hammer, you can't join him unless you play the PC version.
@user-hx3ko7vj4y I get wht u mean but I'm not against crossplay at all but at least let it run with out pc for 3 to 6 months then put it in that way new players have a chance to play before it gets flooded with and ur in a waiting list just to play. I restart most of my games after I'm done . But let's hope it does well
It's doomed anyway you look at it. It's one thing to prevent PC players using their accounts on console but essentially making it a new server means they need to attract an entire community from day one. Unless they plan on making it completely free and reliant on micro-transactions, where is this player base coming from? This also brings up the problem if you make it free on console you're going to raise all kinds of hell and the current community who are paying to play this game. Either way the console server is going to be a literal complete reset, like when the game first started. It's not like a new player joining today on the PC version, they can get help with anything and you can forget about making a great pet. The dedicated community spent so much time and money making pets with great talent pools. There will be nothing for a long time and with such a limited player base, it's highly doubtful they will ever reach a great pet.

And big youtubers still help by explaining the game and lore of wiz. I rather not get carry. Yes it sux we can't transfer our data yet but u never know what's new without losing a few things.
I agree, there is no audience for this to begin with.

@Firestarter_101 can it be done with 4 people or do you need 12
@@lukebaldwin3335 You need 12 unfortunately, there are tons of good guilds you can join though! Some advertise in The Wizard101 Discord if you're in that.
@Firestarter_101 do I need to join a guild to do the raid or can I just join one that's looking
@@lukebaldwin3335 You need to join a guild but some guilds allow you to just join for a raid if they need someone to fill.
