I've been playing Wizard101 for 14 years, and for me personally the hardest part was when Empyrea part 1 came out and Medulla was the final boss. We just couldn't get any further and my ice wizard still had the Darkmoor gear. Medulla was the reason why I took a break from Wizard. 2-3 years later I started again when there were already catacombs and Karamelle, and then we beat Medulla with 140 Wizards

In relation to Tip 1: up until level 50 you can freely buy your training points back, so if you are struggling against a certain boss, picking up a school specific shield from the fairgrounds just for those fights means you can hard defend against say storm and then buy your training point back so you are not stuck with it.

Because of my tendancy to over prepare a lot of worlds arent that hard but oh my god azteca is a mental battle. By the end of the world i feel like my brain is leaking. This world goes on forever, and unlike Khrysalis, the story and setting are not saving it.

You should add your own captions to your videos, would make it a lot easier to know what you're saying. Sometimes you sound way too fast and the words just mumble out on top of each other.

I watched this video 5 days ago and when I learned that you can get free Energy Elixirs from Grub Guardian, I immediately went on it. Even learned there is a AFK method with Bluestacks using macros that another RUclipsr made! You have to invest some crowns, but its worth it. Now I got over 13 Energy Elixirs I can claim thanks to your video.

You also forgot to mention how ice does not get its blade until level 38 which makes thing even more difficult. Real talk ice is one of the hardest to solo with its weak attack 😂

I think the reason why Polaris and mirage are so much easier is probably the power spike you get from the darkmoor gear. It gives so much more in terms of stats than anything before it that you can solo those worlds with relative ease on even some of the more difficult schools to solo.

Myth description was spot on, and is exactly why I love playing it over storm. Being able to take hits while also dishing out good damage is the most fun for me. I think it's so special to me because it's just so... different from every other school. The best 7 pip aoe, the best minions, the gameplay is FAR from boring because of just how much you have to work with.

For arc 1 i think world difficulty will vary by school and when they get access to their 4 or X pip aoe and thier blade.

I think my list would be very different from yours. I looooove playing with the spiritual schools. I feel like the balance for all of the elemental schools is so poor. The downsides of each of them are just so much bigger compared to the spiritual schools. And those downsides don't make it more challenging. They just make it more frustrating. There's nothing challenging about just constant fizzling as a storm. There's nothing challenging about having to spam shields on yourself as ice. Fire is about the only interesting one, figuring out how to balance hits vs DOT spells, but I would still put all three spiritual schools and balance above it. I really like playing balance because of the interesting challenge involved and because you have so much more power when it comes to training points. You really can do anything, and that means you can make a balance wizard multiple times and every time be a completely different experience, unlike most of the other schools. I think I am also the opposite of you in that I prefer long battles. Yeah, the story is fine, but strategy in battle is more fun to me. Myth is my favorite school. I love having to strategize with my minions and think about when to do spells like Minotaur, Keeper of the Flame, Basilisk, Medusa, Earthquake, or Athena Battlesight that each have their own unique advantage that in some situations is a disadvantage. I like that with Myth being inherently balanced around minions, it has some support-y stuff in its arsenal and has decent damage and health, so it practically has no downsides and can play any role in a fight. I just wish Monstrology spells weren't so expensive 😂😂😂

Nice tips bro! I really enjoyed watching this video and I think a tip that I might like to add to the mix would be to always pick up every reagent and Silver Chest that you find. Far too often I see reagents just sitting there on the floor with people walking past them when it doesn't take 30 seconds to just walk up to the reagent, press X, and pick it up. I know reagents might be a minor thing, but honestly, you never know when you'll need that extra Mist Wood or that extra Sunstone or Black Lotus. I highly advise people to just pick up every reagent they find as they quest and not sell them to the Bazaar. You never know when you'll need it in case you need to craft something such as a crafting quest or crafting a jewel you might want. Another thing I want to touch on is Silver Chests. Before, Silver Chests weren't worth opening unless you wanted Shocked Keys (for the Arcanum Focused crafted wands), but as I've been doing the Silver Chest games, I've found that Kingsisle improved the Silver Chest drops. Now, you can get very rare reagents from them (such as your standard Shocked Keys) and also random Spellements. This kind of ties into my reagent bit, but as you open more Silver Chests, all those Spellements you picked up will eventually add up and help improve your spell. Silver Chests aren't for everyone and I know they kind of slow down your overall questing progress, but the Spellement drops from them make opening a Silver Chest worth it, I feel. I also liked how you touched base on knowing the side dungeons. Far too often I come across level 100 players that barely have 50% damage and I'm wondering how they got that far in the game. Mount Olympus (level 30), Waterworks/Lower Zigazag (level 60), and Darkmoor (level 100) are the top three major dungeons and it makes me sad how some people skip them in favor of questing with bad stats. These dungeons should be farmed or else you won't have a good time questing. Finally, a last tip I'd like to add is to do your side quests. You don't have to do all of them, but knowing how to weave in side quests in addition to your main quest is key so you aren't questing severely under-leveled for the world you're taking on. I've seen some players that are level 35 in Dragonspyre and wondering why they're having a hard time with the bosses. It's not because their stats are bad, it's because the level-scaling in Wizard101 sucks and doesn't encourage side quests when side quests are what keep you from being under-leveled. If all else, please do Colossus Boulevard early, then Wysteria, then the main questline of both Grizzleheim and Wintertusk. Doing all of those side worlds should be adequate enough in helping you be the appropriate level for the world you're taking on. I quest solo so I hate being under-leveled for the world I'm taking on because that just makes questing harder on myself when it doesn't need to be.

I see so many people skip out on level locking but its super helpful to lock your level right before doing a dungeon, and then put energy gear on and then lvl so you can do more with pet training

they need to relaunch the game with unique and harder pve mobs. each mob needs a higher chance of using a natural attack that has a double spell such as adding a shield, weakness, inaccuracy, blade, aura etc. this ability should fit their race, location, and school identity. after making the mobs harder they should add more incentives to fighting the mobs such as unique weaponcast jewels or cosmedic items drops unique to the mob you fight

It would be neat if balance worked kind of like how normal type pokemon do, where they only deal normal damage to every school, while also not being weak to any school (I know normal type pokemon are weak to fighting but I digress) At least so balance wizards don't have to scream in pain whenever a balance boss shows up lol
