Well g.o.d isn't from JYP eventhough they're close to JYP himself & JYP artists. They're from sidusHQ (this channel, had a different name back then). JYP is their songwriter & producer, and housemate with them =]]] more of personal & professional friends.

I'm 1994 n I started to be one of their fan about 10 years ago..my kpop lover friends keep asking why I like n love this group so much..well mostly (not all) 90's kpop lovers especially from my country more to 2nd gen kpop group..i told them im also love the other group like snsd, suju, 2ne1 beast, tvxq, bts, infinite and so on..but for me god has something that the other groups doesn't have..something special..so I told them once kpop lovers always kpop lovers..but for god I put them at the special part in my heart that no one can replace it..legend group.. Hands down 👏👏..
Lots of 1st gen idol songs from that era sound dated but not g.o.d. I guess it is one reason why many hoobaes (even those born in 1999 the year g.o.d debuted) know their songs and love them.
Before god got back together it was inconceivable to think that a disbanded group could ever successfully get back together because of all the logistics, contract negotiations, etc involved. god was the first one who came back and did it successfully.

My teenage days were 1st generation idols and I was fan of them. I did not have chances to go to concert since I was too young. So I went to god and shinwha’s 20th concert and sechskies concert since I am an yelkie this year. They were all amazing and I had so much fun.

@@leondeveraux4485 This MV was originally on CJ E&M's (now Stone Music Ent) channel when they got back together in 2014 but g.o.d changed labels recently so I guess that's why CJ took them down and 1theK re-uploaded them. Their MVs all got over a million views btw.
The comeback you are talking about is to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut.
