This episode definitely confirms the Adrien is a sentimonster theory. From how passionate Felix feels about the treatment/creation/destruction of them to the way Adrien is PHYSICALLY unable to disobey his father’s commands despite him desperately wanting to. It just makes too much sense
It's been hinted, yet it doesn't make any sense. Gabriel always rubbing his finger/ring and Adrien obeys. But if Emily or Gabe created him, he NEEDS the peacock miraculous, so why would he give it to Felix? Also, Felix of all miraculouses, chose the peacock. In emotion he calls a sentimonster his friend and a sister and now as you said, he feels passionate towards them/he relates to them.. The only thing I don't undestand is how Adrien still exists if his mom created him (cause she is dead) or how will he still exist when Gabe dies, if he created him?
@@miloradstanojevic3784 I could be wrong, but I believe the sentimonster can still exist as long as the object it has is destroyed or if the holder who created it destroys it. So in the case that Emile was the holder while creating Adrien, she would have had to have made no other sentimonsters after creating Adrien (the wiki says each holder can only make one Sentimonster at a time).
I love this episode for a lot of reasons, but for me the biggest one is how it really shows that Felix is just a kid. I feel like the show makers sometimes forget that. Felix is the smart one, the competent one, and the manipulative one, and most of his appearances up to this point have focused on those traits. But he's also only fourteen, and in this episode, it shows. We see him being kind of shy and awkward with a girl that he likes, not knowing how to express his emotions properly, and all in all being a socially awkward mess, and it's BEAUTIFUL. This boy is a walking disaster and I love it.
Adrien is smart too, the writers just don't show it that often, he's a fast learner but not confident in what he knows is right to do like in Passion he wasn't sure what to do when the bolts were after him thinking he can't do it without her when he was De-transforming but he thought about un-paralyzing Ladybug by taking off her miraculous and switching miraculous' to keep the bolts from attacking them, he knows several languages including morse code he can do two things at once - writing a poem and still listen to the teacher and what the other students were saying Adrien can also be badazz if pushed too far especially when being protective of Marinette

I interpreted Kagamis boundaries dissoliving when she lowers the chair as more of her getting hit with a wave of her seeing what she wanted from Adrien while she was dating him- she leanred she wanted someone more assertive and protective of her- which is what Felix is. She wanted someone who was rather close to perfect and clever- and Felix is. Evil and naive kind of perfect, but close to perfect.

Am I the only one who like adrien and plagg 's relarionship more than Mari and tikki here are my reasons: After one ep Mari and Tikki immediately get along and their dynamic never change even in season 5 While in adrien and plagg their relationship in season 1 is full of banter and annoying each other but as the seasons progressed they grew closer and taught each other lessons like adrien taught plagg responsibility and that is what makes the season 2 finale where plagg has control over his cataclysm more impactful and season 3 and 4 shows them as kind of the brotherly bond relationship teasing each other but getting defensive when one of them is hurt or sad, and season 5 just shows their relationship progress more, so it feels satisfying that they go from being annoyed at each other to being brothers over the 5 seasons of the show. But that is just my opinion.
I agree very much. Marinette and Tikki's relationship was always good whilst Plagg and Adrien had a very good development. I wish they should've gone by a super naggy Tikki since at the start Plagg couldn't care less, they should've made Tikki be so overprotective and develop that. They really missed on that.
Adrien definitely needs plagg more then Marinette needs tikki for sure. Not saying tikki isn’t important but plagg is a lot more beneficial since Adrien has no one to talk to about his double life it’s so wholesome

I think this episode basically confirms Adrien is aware that Gabriel is abusive, and that’s why he’s so desperately trying to stay with Marinette in the kitchen, because he knows his father is capable of doing horrible things to her.
12:00 I think it's important to mention that Felix didn't escape, he stayed there but Ladybug decided to trust him and let him go, giving Kagami the luckcharm to help them fight and letting Felix transform and flee.
Marinette and Adrien are getting more comfortable with each other which is so great! Marinette's slowly working through her past trauma and Adrien's being so patient with her 😍 "she ain't leavin' him for nuthin" you don't know how badly I cheered at that line! Smarty pants is the best HAHAHAHA!!! P.S Feligami is adorable!!! 😂
Maybe I'm giving it too much credit due to the usual quality of the writing, but this episode had impeccable moments, even if a _lot_ happened in the second half. Marinette ripping Gabriel a new one, walking out like a boss and then panicking behind a wall? Excuse me? Since when did we get so real with this show? And don't get me started on how based Kagami is (and don't forget about Gorilla, what a sweetheart he is) or how much Felix has stolen the spotlight once again. Cat Noir will forever remain number one but it would be a lie to say that Felix isn't a close second, the man causes glorious chaos whenever he goes and is an absolute chad. To think we'd have writing of this caliber, I'll excuse all of the show's weaknesses and shortcomings if it means we can get gems like this. Bless all the writers working on this episode, us fans are eating well today.

For some reason, I always thought Kagami and Luka would get together, but I guess they're gonna shove poor Luka into the background with the other side characters since he served his intended purpose.
I didn't really understand the Lukagami ship (mostly because I don't recall them interacting), but then I saw Determination, and I was all for them. I do wonder what they plan to do with Luka though. I'm still waiting for what his purpose is for finding out both Ladybug and Chat Noir's identities.

I find it funny how everyone agrees with Kagami that Félix was being a creep but by the end of the episode they were still like "Yeah, I ship it". I guess that's just the power of good writting. Félix's spying is portrayed more conpetently than Marinette's. He gives his reasoning for abducting Kagami but also apologizes and promises to never do that again and he does, in fact, never do that again unlike Mari who did that for 4 seasons. Also, while they do not absolve him, we should probably take into account Félix's extenuating circumstances. He is currently hiding from the heroes of Paris and the supervillain of Paris, both of whom want his head (the heroes figuratively and Gabe literally) so he cannot just risk exposing himself in broad daylight by normally coming up to her and saying he wanted to talk. It's off-topic but I would just like to say that if I had a nickel for every time Félix ultimately gets what he wanted by robbing someone last minute I would have three nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened thrice. On another note I noticed that Kagami's and Félix's social ineptitude manifests in opposite ways. Kagami has a problem with expressing emotions and at times looks completely emotionless, while also restraining herself from showing basic human reactions like crying. Félix on the other hand acts very emotional, theatrical even (unless he's playing to con someone of course), has no breaks and inhibitions and doesn't know when he's being inappropriate or crosses some other kind of line. Kagami shows too little, Félix shows too much. Yeah, I think they fit each other. They can complement what the other lacks and bring out the best in each other by calling each other out.
Would’ve been pretty cute to add that Felix tells Kagami a cringy pickup line that Duusu taught him only to immediately backfire in his face and grumbling about it to Duusu telling them how he knew that phrase wasn’t going to work It would’ve made a fun interaction between the two of them

Ive been waiting for Marinette talking with Gabriel about fashion since, idk, S2? And honestly, the show barely gave us scenes about Marinette's dream being a fashion designer that i actually forgot that's what she wanted to do in life, other than Adrien I know we should appreciate what we have, and this episode is indeed good, but if we were to take all seasons into consideration, this is awful, bcs everything is overdue. I fear the show already turned bad due to how overdue things are, no matter how good this season is
Honestly? I'm *flabbergasted* at how little they bring up her dream job or idolizing of Gabriel. Like we already know Adrien learning Hawkmoth's identity would hurt. But Marinette finding out THE inspiration for her life-long passion is a horrible villian? Who's hurt her, her loved ones, AND friends? That should be almost equally as impactful.
It was INSANE. 10/10 for me! - I was shocked when I saw Gabriel like that..., he's dying slowely and the power of the kwamis ain't helping..., and if he doesn't get better he can't safe Emile or Nathalie.😰 - i love how this episode is pretty much connected to the previous one and both Marinette and Kagami talked to Gabriel and Tomoe! Really brave of them! - All interactions between Tomoe - Gabriel, Adrien - Marinette and Felix/Argos - Kagami were amazing. The writing of Miraculous has improved a lot, just in general, imo👍🏼 - Quite cute to see how Adrien wanted to stay with Marintte during the "confrontation" between Marinette - Gabriel, but... - It's quite sad, how Gabriel treats his own son like that..., I really felt bad for Adrien..., he tries to be strong and stand for his love relationship with Marinette and for himself..., but Gabriel always turns that off with just one sentence - I also really felt bad for Marinette and Kagami..., they don't deserve to be treated like that..., especially Kagami when her mother called her a dissapointment..., i was like, damn - The scene when Marinette ran to Adrien...perfect👍🏼 and the way she destroyed Gabriel🔥, she was so confident! But I really needed to laugh at the scene when she freaked out because of the way she talked to him..., so relatable..., she did regret it so fast😅 - I LOVE Felix..., this character NEVER dissapoints, I swear! He was fantastic as usual..., Adrien and Felix are similar than we think. Both of them love a girl and they both want to protect her from evil..., and Marinette and Kagami want to protect their boy. - FELIGAMI is amazing..., and I'm glad that Kagami is doing better, especially after Perfection and Protection. Feeling very similar! This season has been FANTASTIC, especially compared to previous seasons. Everything just feels like it's had an increase in quality. Also really love Felix, I really hope they don't drop the ball with him because I'm very confident in saying that he could easily become my favorite character with how he's being developed.

It's _not_ Stockholm syndrome. Stockholm syndrome is more than just developing feelings for your kidnapper. It is when a captive starts to mistake abuse for affection. Felix did not abuse Kagami. He genuinely thought that he was helping her. Does that excuse him for kidnapping her? No. It was stupid and it was creepy and it was wrong. But that doesn't mean that Kagami has Stockholm syndrome. It just means that Felix needs to learn to express himself in a healthy way. And probably therapy too.
I was kinda annoyed in this epsiode that when she was Deakumatized, Kagami's mom wasn't wearing multiple Alliance rings like she was when she was akumatized. Most of the characters in this show probably wouldn't have noticed anyway, but seeing her wearing multiple Alliances (something she presumably doesn't normally do since she put them on as a part of the plan) after weilding multiple miraculous powers as a villain would've been a pretty MAJOR potential clue.
I think the inventions may be from prototypes created by the Goat Miraculous. Gabriel can draw anything into existence as long as it isn't magic, and it seems like devices that transmit magic from outside sources (like the Alliance rings) are fair game.
I think Nathalie lost the GdV ring to Gabriel which is why she can't give Adrien counter-order or give him freedom and Gabriel goes all dictator to Adrien
I was wondering about that, why did he say that no one can contradict him? Maybe she lost her ring in an episode we haven't seen yet, but I hope not. Nathalie and Gorilla are like, the only decent adults in Adrien's life.
My theory about how/why Gabe has so much money is because how intertwined him and Kagami's mom have in terms of funds? A self driving car that seems like a supercharged Tesla? Not to mention Chloe (even though she's a brat, I feel obligated to talk about her) Chloe's mom is a fashion designer like Gabe, and I guess in this world, if you do anything with fashion, you have the entirety of 6x the amounts of Fort Knox gold, and there are other families as well (Felix's family for example) that probably have old money and that's my thinking about how quick and easy it was for Gabe and Kagami's mom made the alliance rings and then the machine that was snagging the Kwamis powers

You know having gorilla's first speaking role happen when Adrien is on the plane, would be hilarious. Like having adrien leave the plane before it takes off and him saying "Sir, your son kinda jumped off the plane. Said he didn't want to leave for london, opened the door mid flight and jumped." Just to scare him xD
Also, i made a video on TikTok about this but IMO that last scene is the end of Adrien's hopes of a better relationship with his father/the end of their father-son relationship. Those dinners were special to Adrien because he usually ate by himself and thought he was finally getting a family again. To get angry and ask to leave means he gives up on that dynamic instead of staying to fight for it. I think moving forward he will regard his father the way we all have been: as an obstacle to his happiness instead of the overbearing but still caring father he had initially seen him as. Its heartbreaking because Gabriel was once someone Adrien was close to, they've mentioned it a few times in the show, I think Gabriel uprooting his life to London when Adrien finally found a good group of friends and a girlfriend he really loves was his final straw. On the flip side, Gabriel telling Adrien this awful news is a sign he no longer wants to try and make his time left about good memories but instead about setting his plans even if it means Adrien hates him for it. Gabriel's contract with Tsurugi is putting pressure on him and her physically always being there to call him out on how little time is left and how he's obligated to finish their deal I think is why he no longer is the pancake-making, supportive, and kinder "dad" he was trying to be earlier this season.

Pretension sets up a whole lot to look forward to for the end of S5 and the Gabriel Arc. Gabriel is going all out to sink Adrinette into dead waters and ship Adrigami ALL DAY, Felix is playing more ad the decisive chess piece that will inadvertently help Ladybug and Cat defeat Monarch and Ms. Tsurugi and the Senti Theory for Felix, Adrien and Kagami are in full steam. I'm still on the fence of Felix being redeemed to be a thing that I want to happen or if he should be shipped with Kagami, but I will not say that I won't be keeping an eye on him, and the more that Adrinette develops, the more I wish that this had happened much earlier in the series than SEASON 5, but that is squarely Astruc's fault moreso than anything.

The Fact that Felix has his own Standards and Emotional Connections with Sentimonsters adds a very Vulnerable and Loving Element to his Personality and Character in itself which makes him a rather Likeable Character. Although, he DID cause Gabriel/Hawkmoth/Shadowmoth to become Monarch but Felix did show some Remorse for his Villainous Actions in the Last Quarter of the Season 4 Finale. *He might be my Favourite Character Now*
Well Kagami was ready to give him a chair not because of stalking, but because she was prepared to defend herself after being kidnapped by a dude with superpowers who literally thanos-snapped like half of Paris few days ago. So yeah he probably deserved that reaction and he knows it. I love how he is self-aware but at the same time bold enough to try and approach her, even if it means causing chaos, rather then just continue stalking like Marinette did. BTW I think fandom is really overreacting on his "wrongdoings". Like he probably followed her for some time after Diamond Dance, yes - because he was surprised to see a senti with her ring on her, and also because he suspected that her mother would try to take it away from her as soon as she will try to disobey, given his own experience with that kind of people. And he knew she will try to disobey their matchmaking cause she told him about respect she has for Adrien and Marinette. And he was right, wasn't he? If he didn't kidnap her, her ring would probably be taken from her right then and there should she try to continue talking to her mother. Also Peacock powers are emotions, which means that Felix can probably feel emotions in a similar way Hawkmoth does - and he probably could feel Kagami`s distress of being forced into submission. And yes he is acting impulsively and he is incredibly chaotic, but he was not wrong. He also made sure to detransform before talking to her so to not overpower her, stating that he is not the enemy for her, and he gives her a proper apology, being honest and open about his feelings while also acknowledging that what he did was indeed socially incompetent as Kagami of all people called it out. And I really think they are a good couple. Kagami finally meets someone who is 1) strong, assertive, confident, bold, straightforward and also competent - enough to oppose adults, the whole world and her mother personally - to protect her from abuse, solitude, mind-control manipulations and stripping her of her emotions; 2) only have eyes for her, and actually have confidence in himself and his feelings to clearly and openly state it to her - without backing out and avoiding her like Adrien did to her. Kagami and Felix are both putting effort this time instead of Kagami pushing forward like it was in her relationship with Adrien. Also Felix not running away from kissing her so that probably helps too :D

They really nailed it in how Adrien and Kagami should be made for each other, but still aren't falling in love. I think that Adrien and Felix have been accidentally swapped and he's the one that's made for Kagami.
I love Felix since his one of the so called "VILLAINS" that can easily get under the protagonist skin without the need of a super power. Like come on- A classic kid that can easily steal your life with ease by just changing cloths and personality, has good character development, has been more help in both good and bad sides then Chloe ever has been less of a pain in the show and his such a good character that even some viewers can feel annoyed with his action's of being a brat time to time I may also like him a lot since his the classic excuse for a parent to say "Why can't you be more like your cousin?" and then the cousin is like a jerk. XD
Adrien is definitely under the rings’ control. Those are the Vanilie rings right? They have influence onto Adrien (but not Felix) as we can see how Gabriel uses it to order Adrien then Nathalie too.

I just remembered when she first became Riposte the akuma went into her ring, so then why didn't the amok come out when her ring/sword was broken? And if Adrien is a sentimonster and his amok is in the ring why didn't Felix try to take it from Gabriel? And I don't think Felix saying him and Kagami are the same necessarily means sentimonster, you said Felix's dad was a controlling parent so he could have meant that's how there the same. And as for him caring about the sentimonster's maybe he see's Gabriel's treatment of them as more parentally abusive behavior. And as for Adrien's obedient behavior maybe he still hasn't found the strength to disobey Gabriel and all the emotional abuse he's put him through Adrien might not have any confidence when he's around. (I know they probably will do the sentimonster angle but I still don't want to believe it)
Can I say that literally Kagami, Zoe, and Chloe explained that everyone in the party the episode prior are extremely rich and important people. To the fact that Chloe grabs marionettes arm asked them how rich or special their parents are and them quickly remove the discussion because only the extremely rich kids get in. So yes, he is sitting on a pile of gold. In fact the same episode when he threatens Marinette other her career choice or Adrien that he controls his whole market through hard manipulation tactics and controlling motions. No one buys Gabriel's clothes because they like them or cares for other people's preferences, but because they feel like they are missing out not getting them. Kinds like Gucci slappy Gucci on a random t shirt and people think it's worth a 1000 bucks.

It's reminds me of the moment as Cat Blac he couldn't wants to love marianette and his wants to obey his father. Are they trying to confirm Adrien is a sentimonster?

Once again Gabriel acts like he could win the worst parent of the year award. How could he move his son to another country just because he's dating someone he doesn't approve of? Even Kagami's mum sucks as proven by this episode when she just strips Kagami from her freedom for going off with some boy. These parents really need some parental counseling because this is not how you raise kids.

I’m glad for the character development lately but I still can’t get into the show the way I used to be. I feel like this season is trying to fix the problems of the previous seasons but it’s just so long overdue. I wish this plot had started developing a lot earlier bc now so much content is being throw in our faces and it’s hard to keep up.
I knew they were going to Felix and Kagumi were going to end up together. It makes sense in a way. I wish gave and Kagumi mom would leave them alone and let them be.

It's possible that Gabriel used the miraculous to build those crazy devices. For instance, he used the goat miraculous to conjure them, and then the rooster miraculous to give them magical powers. Or simply granting himself the power to know how to build crazy devices with the rooster miraculous.
Unpopular opinion ( as it seems ): Both Marinette and Felix were wrong for their stalker-ish behavior but yet everyone only seems to go after Felix for it, but Mari is always forgiven. This episode definitely confirms the Adrien is a sentimonster theory. From how passionate Felix feels about the treatment/creation/destruction of them to the way Adrien is PHYSICALLY unable to disobey his father’s commands despite him desperately wanting to. It just makes too much sense

So in the case that Emile was the holder while creating Adrien, she would have had to have made no other sentimonsters after creating Adrien (the wiki says each holder can only make one Sentimonster at a time).

I love this episode for a lot of reasons, but for me the biggest one is how it really shows that Felix is just a kid. I feel like the show makers sometimes forget that. Felix is the smart one, the competent one, and the manipulative one, and most of his appearances up to this point have focused on those traits. But he's also only fourteen, and in this episode, it shows. We see him being kind of shy and awkward with a girl that he likes, not knowing how to express his emotions properly, and all in all being a socially awkward mess, and it's BEAUTIFUL. This boy is a walking disaster and I love it.

Adrien is smart too, the writers just don't show it that often, he's a fast learner but not confident in what he knows is right to do like in Passion he wasn't sure what to do when the bolts were after him thinking he can't do it without her when he was De-transforming but he thought about un-paralyzing Ladybug by taking off her miraculous and switching miraculous' to keep the bolts from attacking them, he knows several languages including morse code he can do two things at once - writing a poem and still listen to the teacher and what the other students were saying

I interpreted Kagamis boundaries dissoliving when she lowers the chair as more of her getting hit with a wave of her seeing what she wanted from Adrien while she was dating him- she leanred she wanted someone more assertive and protective of her- which is what Felix is. She wanted someone who was rather close to perfect and clever- and Felix is. Evil and naive kind of perfect, but close to perfect.

Am I the only one who like adrien and plagg 's relarionship more than Mari and tikki here are my reasons:
After one ep Mari and Tikki immediately get along and their dynamic never change even in season 5
While in adrien and plagg their relationship in season 1 is full of banter and annoying each other but as the seasons progressed they grew closer and taught each other lessons like adrien taught plagg responsibility and that is what makes the season 2 finale where plagg has control over his cataclysm more impactful and season 3 and 4 shows them as kind of the brotherly bond relationship teasing each other but getting defensive when one of them is hurt or sad, and season 5 just shows their relationship progress more, so it feels satisfying that they go from being annoyed at each other to being brothers over the 5 seasons of the show.
But that is just my opinion.
I agree very much. Marinette and Tikki's relationship was always good whilst Plagg and Adrien had a very good development. I wish they should've gone by a super naggy Tikki since at the start Plagg couldn't care less, they should've made Tikki be so overprotective and develop that. They really missed on that.

Maybe I'm giving it too much credit due to the usual quality of the writing, but this episode had impeccable moments, even if a _lot_ happened in the second half. Marinette ripping Gabriel a new one, walking out like a boss and then panicking behind a wall? Excuse me? Since when did we get so real with this show? And don't get me started on how based Kagami is (and don't forget about Gorilla, what a sweetheart he is) or how much Felix has stolen the spotlight once again. Cat Noir will forever remain number one but it would be a lie to say that Felix isn't a close second, the man causes glorious chaos whenever he goes and is an absolute chad. To think we'd have writing of this caliber, I'll excuse all of the show's weaknesses and shortcomings if it means we can get gems like this. Bless all the writers working on this episode, us fans are eating well today.

I find it funny how everyone agrees with Kagami that Félix was being a creep but by the end of the episode they were still like "Yeah, I ship it". I guess that's just the power of good writting. Félix's spying is portrayed more conpetently than Marinette's. He gives his reasoning for abducting Kagami but also apologizes and promises to never do that again and he does, in fact, never do that again unlike Mari who did that for 4 seasons. Also, while they do not absolve him, we should probably take into account Félix's extenuating circumstances. He is currently hiding from the heroes of Paris and the supervillain of Paris, both of whom want his head (the heroes figuratively and Gabe literally) so he cannot just risk exposing himself in broad daylight by normally coming up to her and saying he wanted to talk.
It's off-topic but I would just like to say that if I had a nickel for every time Félix ultimately gets what he wanted by robbing someone last minute I would have three nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened thrice.
On another note I noticed that Kagami's and Félix's social ineptitude manifests in opposite ways. Kagami has a problem with expressing emotions and at times looks completely emotionless, while also restraining herself from showing basic human reactions like crying. Félix on the other hand acts very emotional, theatrical even (unless he's playing to con someone of course), has no breaks and inhibitions and doesn't know when he's being inappropriate or crosses some other kind of line. Kagami shows too little, Félix shows too much. Yeah, I think they fit each other. They can complement what the other lacks and bring out the best in each other by calling each other out.

Feeling very similar! This season has been FANTASTIC, especially compared to previous seasons. Everything just feels like it's had an increase in quality. Also really love Felix, I really hope they don't drop the ball with him because I'm very confident in saying that he could easily become my favorite character with how he's being developed.

It's _not_ Stockholm syndrome. Stockholm syndrome is more than just developing feelings for your kidnapper. It is when a captive starts to mistake abuse for affection. Felix did not abuse Kagami. He genuinely thought that he was helping her. Does that excuse him for kidnapping her? No. It was stupid and it was creepy and it was wrong. But that doesn't mean that Kagami has Stockholm syndrome. It just means that Felix needs to learn to express himself in a healthy way. And probably therapy too.

I was kinda annoyed in this epsiode that when she was Deakumatized, Kagami's mom wasn't wearing multiple Alliance rings like she was when she was akumatized.
Most of the characters in this show probably wouldn't have noticed anyway, but seeing her wearing multiple Alliances (something she presumably doesn't normally do since she put them on as a part of the plan) after weilding multiple miraculous powers as a villain would've been a pretty MAJOR potential clue.
I think the inventions may be from prototypes created by the Goat Miraculous. Gabriel can draw anything into existence as long as it isn't magic, and it seems like devices that transmit magic from outside sources (like the Alliance rings) are fair game.
I think Nathalie lost the GdV ring to Gabriel which is why she can't give Adrien counter-order or give him freedom and Gabriel goes all dictator to Adrien
I was wondering about that, why did he say that no one can contradict him? Maybe she lost her ring in an episode we haven't seen yet, but I hope not. Nathalie and Gorilla are like, the only decent adults in Adrien's life.
My theory about how/why Gabe has so much money is because how intertwined him and Kagami's mom have in terms of funds? A self driving car that seems like a supercharged Tesla? Not to mention Chloe (even though she's a brat, I feel obligated to talk about her) Chloe's mom is a fashion designer like Gabe, and I guess in this world, if you do anything with fashion, you have the entirety of 6x the amounts of Fort Knox gold, and there are other families as well (Felix's family for example) that probably have old money and that's my thinking about how quick and easy it was for Gabe and Kagami's mom made the alliance rings and then the machine that was snagging the Kwamis powers

but IMO that last scene is the end of Adrien's hopes of a better relationship with his father/the end of their father-son relationship. Those dinners were special to Adrien because he usually ate by himself and thought he was finally getting a family again. To get angry and ask to leave means he gives up on that dynamic instead of staying to fight for it. I think moving forward he will regard his father the way we all have been: as an obstacle to his happiness instead of the overbearing but still caring father he had initially seen him as. Its heartbreaking because Gabriel was once someone Adrien was close to, they've mentioned it a few times in the show, I think Gabriel uprooting his life to London when Adrien finally found a good group of friends and a girlfriend he really loves was his final straw.
On the flip side, Gabriel telling Adrien this awful news is a sign he no longer wants to try and make his time left about good memories but instead about setting his plans even if it means Adrien hates him for it. Gabriel's contract with Tsurugi is putting pressure on him and her physically always being there to call him out on how little time is left and how he's obligated to finish their deal I think is why he no longer is the pancake-making, supportive, and kinder "dad" he was trying to be earlier this season.
Are all of the rich kids just... Not real and controlled by rings??? At least the question "Where's Kagami's father in all of this?" is answered.

Pretension sets up a whole lot to look forward to for the end of S5 and the Gabriel Arc. Gabriel is going all out to sink Adrinette into dead waters and ship Adrigami ALL DAY, Felix is playing more ad the decisive chess piece that will inadvertently help Ladybug and Cat defeat Monarch and Ms. Tsurugi and the Senti Theory for Felix, Adrien and Kagami are in full steam. I'm still on the fence of Felix being redeemed to be a thing that I want to happen or if he should be shipped with Kagami, but I will not say that I won't be keeping an eye on him, and the more that Adrinette develops, the more I wish that this had happened much earlier in the series than SEASON 5, but that is squarely Astruc's fault moreso than anything.

The Fact that Felix has his own Standards and Emotional Connections with Sentimonsters adds a very Vulnerable and Loving Element to his Personality and Character in itself which makes him a rather Likeable Character. Although, he DID cause Gabriel/Hawkmoth/Shadowmoth to become Monarch but Felix did show some Remorse for his Villainous Actions in the Last Quarter of the Season 4 Finale. *He might be my Favourite Character Now*

Well Felix/Argos is an anti hero because he is a bad guy in Emotion but a good guy in this episode
Well Kagami was ready to give him a chair not because of stalking, but because she was prepared to defend herself after being kidnapped by a dude with superpowers who literally thanos-snapped like half of Paris few days ago. So yeah he probably deserved that reaction and he knows it. I love how he is self-aware but at the same time bold enough to try and approach her, even if it means causing chaos, rather then just continue stalking like Marinette did.
BTW I think fandom is really overreacting on his "wrongdoings". Like he probably followed her for some time after Diamond Dance, yes - because he was surprised to see a senti with her ring on her, and also because he suspected that her mother would try to take it away from her as soon as she will try to disobey, given his own experience with that kind of people. And he knew she will try to disobey their matchmaking cause she told him about respect she has for Adrien and Marinette. And he was right, wasn't he? If he didn't kidnap her, her ring would probably be taken from her right then and there should she try to continue talking to her mother. Also Peacock powers are emotions, which means that Felix can probably feel emotions in a similar way Hawkmoth does - and he probably could feel Kagami`s distress of being forced into submission. And yes he is acting impulsively and he is incredibly chaotic, but he was not wrong. He also made sure to detransform before talking to her so to not overpower her, stating that he is not the enemy for her, and he gives her a proper apology, being honest and open about his feelings while also acknowledging that what he did was indeed socially incompetent as Kagami of all people called it out.
And I really think they are a good couple. Kagami finally meets someone who is 1) strong, assertive, confident, bold, straightforward and also competent - enough to oppose adults, the whole world and her mother personally - to protect her from abuse, solitude, mind-control manipulations and stripping her of her emotions; 2) only have eyes for her, and actually have confidence in himself and his feelings to clearly and openly state it to her - without backing out and avoiding her like Adrien did to her. Kagami and Felix are both putting effort this time instead of Kagami pushing forward like it was in her relationship with Adrien. Also Felix not running away from kissing her so that probably helps too :D

They really nailed it in how Adrien and Kagami should be made for each other, but still aren't falling in love. I think that Adrien and Felix have been accidentally swapped and he's the one that's made for Kagami.
I love Felix since his one of the so called "VILLAINS" that can easily get under the protagonist skin without the need of a super power. Like come on- A classic kid that can easily steal your life with ease by just changing cloths and personality, has good character development, has been more help in both good and bad sides then Chloe ever has been less of a pain in the show and his such a good character that even some viewers can feel annoyed with his action's of being a brat time to time I may also like him a lot since his the classic excuse for a parent to say "Why can't you be more like your cousin?" and then the cousin is like a jerk. Adrien is definitely under the rings’ control. Those are the Vanilie rings right? They have influence onto Adrien (but not Felix) as we can see how Gabriel uses it to order Adrien then Nathalie too.

I just remembered when she first became Riposte the akuma went into her ring, so then why didn't the amok come out when her ring/sword was broken? And if Adrien is a sentimonster and his amok is in the ring why didn't Felix try to take it from Gabriel? And I don't think Felix saying him and Kagami are the same necessarily means sentimonster, you said Felix's dad was a controlling parent so he could have meant that's how there the same. And as for him caring about the sentimonster's maybe he see's Gabriel's treatment of them as more parentally abusive behavior. And as for Adrien's obedient behavior maybe he still hasn't found the strength to disobey Gabriel and all the emotional abuse he's put him through Adrien might not have any confidence when he's around.

Can I say that literally Kagami, Zoe, and Chloe explained that everyone in the party the episode prior are extremely rich and important people. To the fact that Chloe grabs marionettes arm asked them how rich or special their parents are and them quickly remove the discussion because only the extremely rich kids get in.
So yes, he is sitting on a pile of gold. In fact the same episode when he threatens Marinette other her career choice or Adrien that he controls his whole market through hard manipulation tactics and controlling motions. No one buys Gabriel's clothes because they like them or cares for other people's preferences, but because they feel like they are missing out not getting them.

Once again Gabriel acts like he could win the worst parent of the year award. How could he move his son to another country just because he's dating someone he doesn't approve of? Even Kagami's mum sucks as proven by this episode when she just strips Kagami from her freedom for going off with some boy. These parents really need some parental counseling because this is not how you raise kids.

Let's go deeper, this is going to be your daughter in law whether you like the idea or not and a potential heiress to the Gabriel brand which she's indicated since the show started she wants to be a part of
At the very least you should be commending her for her courage in coming to you to seek the blessing to be with your son not intimidating her for showing courage in doing so
You will have potential heirs and heiresses apparent in the children they will bear to your brand should they choose to be part of this as well, there's no need to worry much about immediate descendants
It will also be your duty to support the children should they choose not to associate with the brand and do anything else other than the business, be there and be committed for them and with them in whatever it is they choose to pursue and support your son and Mari and their potential parenting style they will have with their kids

Since Argos has her amok, he is allowed to remote control all other amoks and retrieve them and free others from control with Duusuu allowed to extract Felix's own amok as well if it is within the limits of the Kwami's powers, but by virtue of holding her he's immune to his own hence why that could be possible

I feel like this season is trying to fix the problems of the previous seasons but it’s just so long overdue. It's possible that Gabriel used the miraculous to build those crazy devices. For instance, he used the goat miraculous to conjure them, and then the rooster miraculous to give them magical powers. Or simply granting himself the power to know how to build crazy devices with the rooster miraculous.

Unpopular opinion ( as it seems ): Both Marinette and Felix were wrong for their stalker-ish behavior but yet everyone only seems to go after Felix for it, but Mari is always forgiven.
