"A Timelord Christmas" is a labor of love made by a crew of professional artists and musicians. It was produced and animated in under a month in a tiny Brooklyn apartment. The music and vocals were produced and recorded in England.

Of course, they couldn't put an angel at the top of the tree because then it would try to kill them when they aren't looking.
There was an angel in the first draft of the script, and a Dalek as well. Then I decided to cut the villains and make it 100% about the Doctor.

My mouth fell open when Capaldi popped out. I teared up a little at all the ornaments and wrapping paper and stuff, and how the past Doctors gave the new one his present. I'm a dork.

Is anyone else just LOVING all the details on that tree and in the presents? Besides the featured ornaments, there's a banana, a jammy dodger, K-9, an adipose, a fez, and...a pickle? Okay, I might have missed that one. But the wrapping paper too! Seven's sweater vest pattern, jelly babies, "the round things", Amy's apple, Clara's leaf... Wonderful! I may have missed others, but my Whovian heart is happy and actually feeling a little more prepared to welcome another Doctor and many more adventures!

I wish they'd get Eccleston and Tennant to do something like this. Not a big anniversary episode, but on Christmas, just bring the actors together and make this sort of sketch. It probably wouldn't be that hard, actually.
I just have this idea of Rose kissing nine under the mistletoe, then having to kiss Ten too and then go through them all like Snow White and the Seven Dwarves! LOL
So cute. I love the wrappingpaper. Questionmarks, jellybabies, smilling apples, swirls from ten's tie and I the round things ( what are the round things?). Oh and all the baubles on the tree. Timelord Hearts, JammieDodger, Banana, Cat, Adipose, Tardis, Bad Wolf, Snowmen, Fobwatch, A Fez ( of course!), Bessie, K9 and a Gherkin.

Nearly! We assumed Twelve's screwdriver would be the same as River's, which is what he has here. We were sort of correct. :p

omg you forsaw the future, i never noticed the twelfth doctor was holding River song screwdriver!!! And then a few years later the same doctor gave her screwdriver to her a his first gift to her. DXDX OMGAWD!!!

Just the doctor spending Christmas with himself
He can be very Self Absorbed at times so its not to far of a stretch to imagine him doing this and using some excuse that only he can understand what he is going through.
I am so happy, I may or may not have started tearing up because this put me in the perfect Christmas Spirit. Doctor Puppet, you are the best! I wont spoil the episode for anyone, but let's just say that one of the gifts had me squealing. ;v;
