I see a weird, downward, almost Tennessee Walker-ish slope to the hindquarters as well as some wonky stiffness, but I was blown away by RDR's horses and these look even better. I still have yet to find console games that can live up to RDR and what I've seen of these horses. When the horse spun before galloping off toward the end, I could feel it. I've sat those kinds of shenanigans before. An excited horse that just wants to go, but you have to have a quick conversation first to get him back under control. He wants to go, but he didn't bother to wait for you to tell him which direction.

Umar Ali You are using the shittiest example, a game's graphics have significance but not to any sort of fun-factor for said game. Fallout, which has a type of "dependancy" on graphics are completely biased to your argument. By that bias, I could then use Mario as an example for mine, the classic bit-style Mario games are easily some of the greatest games coming from that series, I would dare even say the best, yet they are a bunch of pixels, not some 1080p-4K graphic'd game. If you play Red Dead Redemption, compared to today's standards for graphics, that game is not the best looking, but it plays extremely well and has lasting fun. The graphics, while still important, do not determine whether a game is good or not. Whether it is good all depends on whether the game functions well (doesn't crash, lag, freeze, etc) and if it has any replay value/is fun.

From the looks of things, the game will more than likely be about 300+ hours of gameplay. From what I read, RDR2 map will be bigger than any map than all the games they released so far, So there'll be plenty of things to do and explore in the game.
So, to be clear: Gamespot have taken Rockstar's trailer, re-uploaded it without comment or criticism, slapped a commercial at the start; and they did it all in 1080p instead of the 4K Rockstar used. If this was a smaller channel it would have been content ID claimed and blocked.
Because they are making money putting ads in front of content they did not make. You post the trailer and monetize it and see how long it takes before lawyers call.
But I wouldn’t play online anyway, rockstar said red dead’s online is gonna be monetized similarly to GTAs, so that means some sort of shark cards, with super fucking expensive everything, and no way to earn money unless you have friends who’ll do heists with you.
I don't want to see anything that isn't in touch with reality in multiplayer. Unfortunately however, many people are drawn to dumb shit, so I'm sure we'll see horses with manes of fire, unicorns, zombie horses, pink revolvers, and plenty of other stupid cosmetic shit.

I'm glad you guys innovated trailers with this by not just showing a movie like trailer but actually telling the audience what it is we're looking at and telling us the mechanics of the game before we play it while not giving away any part of the story other than who the character is. I've maybe watched this trailer. 20 or more times and I enjoy the small details. How every npc has its own natural reaction to occasions. The horses jerk their heads and such while being led or rode. The fluidity of how shot foes fall with whatever body part is shot and how many times their shot. How nature responds to your presence in the environment. This is the most natural and beautifully rendered game by rockstar and I can't wait to get my hands on my ultimate edition preordered copy!!!

I am aware of how often they used to put games out, It takes longer with the graphics and details they put into their games now. They probably still could release as often but they focused on making GTA V online what it is and it was a smart move on their part, they still gave us an amazing game prior to that with V. Far better than what COD does and releases a game every year which is basically the same thing or many other games who give you only part of it and make you buy DLC's.
Zodiac Boy Ya the animations are good butt, BUT they should slow it down a bit, maybe a second or two longer instead of instantaneously using the power fucking Hermès to reload. That’s all.
Zodiac Boy Kinda like the 19th century weapons in bf1. Some real lad take up to 4-5secs to reload at most and the animations are gorgeous. Best of both worlds. Reloading is a big part of combat, and it becomes a bigger part of combat the further back in time you go, that’s what I meant by the western movies, when a character is reloading in a western film they are doing it as fast as possible but have to reload each chamber in the middle of a gun fight where they might die so it takes steady hands. They do it clean, and fine, and take their time. At its best use the reload is used to add tension or drama to a situation with maybe some dialogue from the character reloading to boot. It’s just a dynamic that they might miss out on by the looks of the trailer. Aside from that this is gonna be clearly the best game in the last 8 years and for the next 8 as well.

Umar Ali You are using the shittiest example, a game's graphics have significance but not to any sort of fun-factor for said game. Fallout, which has a type of "dependancy" on graphics are completely biased to your argument. By that bias, I could then use Mario as an example for mine, the classic bit-style Mario games are easily some of the greatest games coming from that series, I would dare even say the best, yet they are a bunch of pixels, not some 1080p-4K graphic'd game. If you play Red Dead Redemption, compared to today's standards for graphics, that game is not the best looking, but it plays extremely well and has lasting fun. The graphics, while still important, do not determine whether a game is good or not. Whether it is good all depends on whether the game functions well (doesn't crash, lag, freeze, etc) and if it has any replay value/is fun.
Evan Eaton Rockstar always has great graphical improvements for every game they release, but what makes this one special is how the world actually looks alive.
You mean like Witcher 3 or Horizon Zero Dawn? Those games look way better or equivalent to this. Also, GTAV wasn't that impressive on last gen. Max Payne 3 looked far better.
Graphics are important to extent because when you are telling a story, you want the player to get immersed and lost into the world. See what is going on and how to feel.

The problem with assassins creed is they are just making more of them with no end goal and using the name to make money. I mean look at the new one thats coming out. Its set before "origins" and it doesnt even have the most iconic weapon...the hidden blade. Its just using the name so that hard core fans will buy it. The story died with Desmond.

They poured all of their resources into it I think it'll dwarf GTA V in content and scope.
From the looks of things, the game will more than likely be about 300+ hours of gameplay. From what I read, RDR2 map will be bigger than any map than all the games they released so far, So there'll be plenty of things to do and explore in the game.
Hopefully, cause its almost certain multiplayer is going to be a uber monetized cesspool worse than GTA

So, to be clear: Gamespot have taken Rockstar's trailer, re-uploaded it without comment or criticism, slapped a commercial at the start; and they did it all in 1080p instead of the 4K Rockstar used. If this was a smaller channel it would have been content ID claimed and blocked.

I've maybe watched this trailer. 20 or more times and I enjoy the small details. How every npc has its own natural reaction to occasions. The horses jerk their heads and such while being led or rode. The fluidity of how shot foes fall with whatever body part is shot and how many times their shot. How nature responds to your presence in the environment. This is the most natural and beautifully rendered game by rockstar and I can't wait to get my hands on my ultimate edition preordered copy!!!

I am aware of how often they used to put games out, It takes longer with the graphics and details they put into their games now. They probably still could release as often but they focused on making GTA V online what it is and it was a smart move on their part, they still gave us an amazing game prior to that with V. Far better than what COD does and releases a game every year which is basically the same thing or many other games who give you only part of it and make you buy DLC's.

Zodiac Boy Ya the animations are good butt, BUT they should slow it down a bit, maybe a second or two longer instead of instantaneously using the power fucking Hermès to reload. That’s all.
Zodiac Boy Kinda like the 19th century weapons in bf1. Some real lad take up to 4-5secs to reload at most and the animations are gorgeous. Best of both worlds. Reloading is a big part of combat, and it becomes a bigger part of combat the further back in time you go, that’s what I meant by the western movies, when a character is reloading in a western film they are doing it as fast as possible but have to reload each chamber in the middle of a gun fight where they might die so it takes steady hands. They do it clean, and fine, and take their time. At its best use the reload is used to add tension or drama to a situation with maybe some dialogue from the character reloading to boot. It’s just a dynamic that they might miss out on by the looks of the trailer. Aside from that this is gonna be clearly the best game in the last 8 years and for the next 8 as well.
