It also helps that there were less CG shots in T2 compared to a movie like Green Lantern. Especially with the mouths. 2001 Space Odyssey didn't use CG because it didn't exist so you bringing it up helps nothing

I watched it as a young child and massive fan of Green Lantern and I didn't like it at all, the CGI was awful for me even as a child and the storyline was so bland and boring and Nome of the characters looked good or meant anything, none of them were even the same as the original comic versions. The plot was also almost nonexistant and all of the cool factor was just gone. The rings also seemed far too weak. Only good thing was Ryan Renolds but he was grossly miscast for the movie.
