My 16 year old AKG K44 are built like a tank. Still have original ear pads. I sat on them dropped them over the years. Brand name Headphones I bought on Amazon a few years ago didn't even last 2 years before "everything" started falling apart. I use ToneBoosters free to use unlimited demo Vst "Morphit" to correct frequency response (Morphit has many AKG headphone models eq correction curves) when mixing music in DAW. Not all headphones correction apps are created equal. Morphit sounds crystal clear compared to another Vst I bought.
@@jinkazama2555 I would check online reviews. And also the frequency response. 20hz to 20khz is the minimum you need. If you do buy the 280 pro and they under perform you can always return them. I would also check out M audio HD H50...they seem cheap but decent.
@@chaosevolution i actually do have them, they are great for mixing. Just wanted to know your opinion. I did research b4 i bought them. I need to get a new pair though, after 3 years, the wirering is faulty and one of the cups are declining in quality. But the sound has helped me mix so well.

Akg k92 : Hollow mids, boxy sound, weak bass. Trash.
Pioneer HRM 6 & HRM 7 are brilliant
I just ordered Beyerdynamic DT Pro 770 250 Ohm to replace my HRM 7s

Have you tested the k92? I don't know what to buy in that price range (75$)
Budget? i consider £10 to be budget
Bro, everyone has its own budget 🤠I hope one day 50£ will be “budget” for your as well 🙌
Bro, for 10 you can't even get a full meal in some places
In any case these headphones are horrendous, buy a pair of samson sr850's instead
@@Synthematix That's subjective
