With the friction pens if you put them in the freezer it all comes back! (Good to know if anyone else loses text/highlights using them)

Thumbs-ed up but also replying to second this!! It absolutely works. My smart self LAMINATED a whole Frixion-written page.....totally obliterated it, of course. Came back within 10 min in the freezer (can be a fun game w/ kids too!).

Got my PAL planner from Yoseka and I can't wait to start using it. Thank you for sharing your set up. I love the "dashboard" monthly view because after the initial setup of my months I rarely go back and look at them again.

This video helped me FINALLY understand the use of PAL planners and now I'll be transitioning to this planner for 2024! Kindly requesting more solo Ashley vids!

Loved this! I've never used a PAL planner but been curious to see what a layout would look it in it. Also the ZIG clean color dot markers would work pretty well for those mini calendars!!

My PAL planner from you guys was just delivered! I planned out December and the upcoming week and so far I am feeling so good about this system. Likely I will change the way I use the weeks depending on what is going on that week, but right now I’m using for day and evening schedule - but next week I will likely use one side for my schedule and one side for my kids schedule. 🤗

Wow this is my first time seeing this planner and I think this format would work really well for me. It’s only February of 2024, but I’m already thinking about my 2025 planners lol. Thank you for sharing!!!! 💗

This planner tempted me so much for 2024 ... I still kinda want to give it a try, but I just started planning this year and wanted to play it safe so got a planner that is more similar to the one I used.

I'm sure glad I already committed to a Cousin and a Jibun Techo Lite for 2024, because this is VERY appealing. 😅Thank you for sharing it!

I miss the brown! Not using the PAL this year but enjoyed it a few years ago, especially the unique monthly and tracking page.

Thanks for sharing. I got my PAL planner on Monday and love it thus far. I had been using the B6 Slim Kokuyo Jibun Techo but I prefer this one. Next year, I plan to wait before I buy any planner just in case I see something I might like better.

I already ordered a hobonichi, but I'm pretty interested in the PAL planner. Maybe I can use it for something that my hobonichi won't be tracking.

Eyeing this for 2025, made a calendar entry for October 24 to start looking for it 😁 I like the plan and log, since well life happens and plans change 😂 hope the 2025 one is a pretty color 🤞😊

Yes Ashley! So happy you made this video ❤ I was seriously lacking an idea of how to use the monthly tracker and sure enough you inspired me to track my sleep. I gave into using the RISE app on my phone for the next year however your demonstration of your sleep tracker is just what I was searching for so I will be using both. Seeing how sleep effects other activities during the day is genius.
Can’t wait to really dive deep into the discipline of planning and logging!

WOW! I'm sold! I'm definitely getting this for work next year! In the meantime, I'll figure out how to replicate it in my Common Planner. Thank you so much for sharing!!! ❤

I am drawn to this layout but my neurospicy brain needs to see how does time look hour-wise. even if I don't follow the hourly schedule, it's helpful :)

Great video, and really good explanation of a new planner to me. Only thing is the constant refocusing of the camera gave me an instant migraine 😢. Wish I could have watched as opposed to just listening to it.

This can also work with the Bullet Journal method when you use the blank pages as the collection pages. ✏️ 🔘

This is so helpful Ashley!! I had the PAL planner last year but was hesitant to use it again this year, as I kept getting stuck on the monthly/Gantt chart page - this totally helps me understand how to use it for my brain so it makes sense. Mine last year was *chaotic * to say the least, haha.

What were the limitations of the PAL planner and Why did you decide to go from PAL to Cousin? How is the paper for fountain pen inks?

    • @Yoseka
      @Yoseka  Месяц назад

The main difference between the PAL and the Cousin would just be going from a weekly format (having one square to write in each day) versus a whole A5 page a day. Both the Kokuyo Mio paper in the PAL and the Tomoe River paper in the Hobonichi Cousin are fountain pen friendly, but the Tomoe River paper probably wins a bit when it comes to showing off inks!
