      Just an update guys, I decided to focus on basics once again. Right now, I can hold 5 seconds of 45 degree straddle hold. Slowly getting there! How's your fl progress guys?

      currently im at straddle horizontal position like 5 sec, and now im working for full front lever, one time I had a good try and hold it like 3 seconds with good form

    I am at the straddle phase but seems a but stuck here. I can hold it for 2-4 sec, then I am doing couple of negatives but It seems I am not advancing. Any suggestions?

      Nice. That's my ultimate goal (2-3 years). I just started calisthenics some weeks ago (about three) and am impressed by the newfound strength I acquired. I have been weightlifting for the most part of my life, but could never do a front lever. I have never tried human flag. I did try the dragon flag with mixed success. Looking forward to the human flag tut.

      @@chriscox1535 Human flag looks way more difficult than front lever. I haven't even try, though. I'm still using bands for my front lever. Doing pushups, pullups and dips now to improve my strength.

      It is unreasonable to compare 2 workout styles without having a specific goal. Powerlifting has its place aswell as calisthenics. This guy can't squat 1000lbs and a powerlifter likely can't to 100 push-ups.

    i do front lever in p bars but i can't do it in high bars thats wierd the only way i can do it in high bars is negative holds i tried many times to do it from dead hang but i failed 😕

      Hello. Do understand muscle. Do it step 1,step 3. Do it front raises. So, you will understand the muscle. You have to pull away from bar and prees hips to bar

    I injured my something in my back (upon research i found out, it could be something to do with teres major). Now i am having pain under my armpit radiating towards elbow while doing pullups. The pain isn’t too bad but it definitely creates discomfort while doing a lot of pull movements in day to day life too. Its been 2 days since this happened.
    What could be the reason, can someone answer this please and what are the remedies.

      Could be a strain in the long head of your tricep caused by compensation during the back injury, RICE it for a while and ease back in with progressions that don't cause pain

      train 3times a week pull-up, at least 5set with enough rest 3-5min maxing each and slowest negativ of your life when you'r tired after those 5set. You'll improve faster, but your muscles will be sored af. Band help too, but always start without
