that yarn is beautiful!! i would recommend the Musselburgh hat by Ysolda Teague!! that one can be made in any yarn weight and normally uses a 100 grams skein. Loved the video!
How fun! I love Paris. I got to spend three weeks there for work a long time ago. We worked really long days, but the weekends were fun! ChiaoGoo interchangeable cords are made 10” shorter than a standard size needle (i.e., a fixed circular needle) because the needle tips are 5 inches. So when you add two 5” needles to your 14” cord, you end up with a 24-inch circular needle. If you got a 22” cable, you’d have a 32-inch needle, etc. They also have 4” needle tips, which makes the math not work as well, but it’s mostly for the smaller cords so you can make things like socks using a single circular instead of 2 circs or double pointed needles.
That makes WAY too much sense 😂 thank you so much for explaining that to me! I am used to my KnitPicks needles that give you the total length (cord + needles) when advertising just the cord length. So glad you loved Paris too!
The match was super cool! One thing I didn’t mention in the video is that we accidentally got tickets in the VERY hype section, so it was extra rowdy around us! Are you a soccer fan?
That’s a great idea! It is getting a bit colder where I live, so I will be itching to cast on more winter-y projects here soon! Do you have any glove/mitt patterns that you like?
I don’t know if 100 grams of sport weight is enough for a Musselburgh, but it’s a great pattern that can be adapted to any yarn weight. OR, an accessory that seems very French would be the Sophie Scarf by Petite Knit. Or find a beret pattern! Lots of options😊
TU for sharing ur trip to Paris ❤

What a wonderful trip! Thanks for sharing. I'm so jealous that you got to go to a PSG match. Very cool!

@laurarachellee Yes, and I watch PSG matches to help me learn French.
I’m going to Paris in April and am planning on going to Lil Weasel as well!! And chiagoo’s are my favorite needle!!
That’s so awesome!!! I hope you get the chance to explore more yarn stores - only going to one is probably my biggest regret from the trip!
Thanks for sharing your trip. Beautiful. Suggestion for the yarn, possibly fingerless mitts 🤷🏻♀️

Oh my gosh a beret would be so sweet with the speckles!! Honestly all of these ideas are great - thank you!!
You can cut yarn with a box of dental floss eliminating the need for scissors on a plane 😊
This is genius! Thanks for the tip!
